Sedlak responded by clicking it back to 600,000 and, not to be outdone, Lei made it 800,000 to go. Sedlak cut to the chase and moved all in, and Lei called all in for about 1,300,000 total.

Lee Leaves Plant Rootless

Ryan Plant

Ryan Plant's big stack has been uprooted, with Wai Kiat Lee the beneficiary of a huge clash between the pair.

Plant opened the hijack to 80,000 and Lee three-bet to 225,000. Plant came back with a four-bet to 400,000, before Lee raised the stakes again with a five-bet to 575,000.

After using a time bank, Plant decided to put the rest of his stack in the middle, shoving for around 1,500,000. Lee couldn't call quickly enough.

Plant had gone out on a limb, but Lee had him in serious trouble and needed only to dodge an ace to take down the monster pot.

Ryan Plant and Wai Kiat Lee both have big stacks, and they just played a pot together.

Plant raised from middle position to 60,000 and Lee three-bet the cutoff to 160,000. When it got back to Plant, he called.

On the 3♠ 9♣ J♣ flop, Plant check-called a bet of 200,000 from Plant to the 9♠ turn, where he knuckled the table again. Lee then fired a bet of around 320,000, and before the dealer could count it, Plant folded.

Jun Li and Martin Sedlak are also moving along nicely. Li has around 1,200,000 in front of him, while Sedlak has a little more with 1,500,000.

Takanari Uchida went on a bubble rollercoaster, but eventually was eliminated to bring the field into the money.

First, Ryuta Nakao opened and then folded to Jeremy Chan's three-bet. Uchida was already all-in from under the gun for 10,000, which left him a side pot of 64,000 that he could win.

Ren Lin was in the background and shouting for an ace, and he got his wish as the Q♦ 5♥ A♠ flop gave Uchida the lead. No jacks appeared on the 8♦ T♥ runout, and Uchida survived

In the next hand, Uchida folded his big blind and was left with 4,000, which he was forced to put into the pot in the hand after.

Neither the J♠ turn or 6♥ river changed anything and Lee was awarded the double-up.

At an outer table, Wataru Takasaki was forced all in from the big blind and Konstantin Solovev raised from early position. Motokatsu Uhara called on the button for a side pot.

Uhara called a 60,000 bet from Konstantin on the 8♣ J♣ 9♣ flop and then both players checked on the 3♠ turn.

The Q♦ completed the board and Uhara folded after Konstantin bet.

Konstantin revealed A♥ 7♣ and Wataru, who hadn't looked yet, slammed the T♥ 5♣ face up, which was good for a straight for the triple up.

Chang Hwan Lee Leads Stacked Field Into APT High Roller Finale

Ryuta Nakai Enters Day 2 Third in Chips

The final day of the 2026 APT Incheon festival has arrived! Numerous champions have already been crowned, including the latest Main Event winner, Stephen Pang, who overcame a 1,393-entry field to claim the Gold Mega Lion trophy and KRW 411,180,000 (~USD 293,700) top prize as part of a three-way ICM deal.

A handful of events have yet to be completed, however, including the prestigious APT High Roller, which got underway yesterday. From a starting field of 222 entrants, just 51 players remain in contention for Day 2.

Leading the way is Japan's Chang Hwan Lee, who bagged an impressive 1,211,000 chips at the end of Day 1. China's Yuan Lei is hot on his heels with 1,183,000, while Ryuta Nakai of Japan will be looking for redemption after bubbling the Superstar Challenge and returns with a top-three stack worth 1,173,000.

The top of the leaderboard is packed with a who's who of APT regulars. Martin Sedlak sits fifth with 885,000 and is looking to add a third APT title to his collection, while Ryan Plant is hunting his first Mega Lion after already collecting four APT Lion trophies.

Jun Li is also well positioned with 665,000 and will be hoping to go one better than his runner-up finish in this event last year. Meanwhile, Jeremy Chan returns with 608,000 and has a chance to win a second title of the series after winning the Super High Roller earlier in the series.

Further down the leaderboard, Ren Lin will return with 574,000 and has his sights set on completing an APT High Roller "Grand Slam" after winning the Super High Roller and Superstar Challenge at APT Jeju Classic. Australia's Josh McCully is chasing the same feat and returns with 364,000.

By the time late registration was closed, the KRW 5,000,000 buy-in event generated a KRW 959,040,000 (~USD 685,030) prize pool that nearly doubled the KRW 500,000,000 guarantee. With 31 players set to make the money, the surviving field will return today with their eyes firmly fixed on the KRW 199,870,000 top prize and a seat into the APTC Main Event in November (valued at ~USD 10,000).

APT High Roller Payouts

Just 20 eliminations are all that separate the remaining field from a guaranteed payday, so it won't take long for the money bubble to burst. Play resumes at 11:15 a.m. local time on Level 17 with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and a 12,000 big blind ante. Levels will continue to last 40 minutes each and the plan is to play down to a winner.
