On the 8♦ turn, Chen led out for 1,000. Nguyen and Kim quickly folded, but Chou made the call.

Chiang led out for 4,000, Hu folded and Chou took a moment to evaluate his chip stack, look at his cards, wondered if there could be civilizations under the sea and then made the call.

The dealer spread 5♣ 8♥ A♦ , and both players opted to check through. On the 3♥ turn, Chen checked again, and this time Chou put out a 1,100 bet. Chen called.

When the 3♦ river completed the board, Chen led out for 4,000. After a short pause, Chou made the call and was rewarded with the pot, turning over A♠ 6♣ for top pair. Chen's 6♠ 4♠ missed completely, and his river bluff was picked off.
