A Six is Enough
Michael Fan raised to 1,500 from the small blind and Sheng Wen Chen three-bet to 4,000. Fan called.
Fac checked over the 3♥ 2♠ 6♣ flop and Chen fired out 3,000. Fan came along.
When the T♦ fell on the turn, it went check-check.
Fan fired out 5,000 on the A♦ river and Chen called to take it to a showdown.
After Fan revealed a flopped pair of sixes 8♦ 6♦ , Chen tossed his cards into the muck and relinquished the pot.

Fan's Hooks Crack Chan's Bullets

A big three way hand just played out resulting in one elimination.
Sheng Wen Chen open-shoved for 8,100 from under the gun and was just called by Justin Chan in the cutoff. Michael Fan then moved all in for 39,400 from the big blind and Chan made the call for a three way all-in with a large side pot between Chan and Fan.
Sheng Wen Chen: 8♠ 8♦
Michael Fan: J♦ J♣
Justin Chan: A♣ A♠
Chan was the big favourite to win both pots but the poker gods had other plans.
The dealer spread the flop of J♥ 3♣ 3♦ and Fan had flopped a house with his pocket jacks.
The dealer soon dealt another 3♦ on the turn to give Chan an additional out, but still drawing very thin.
The river bricked out a T♦ on the river, sending Chen out the tournament and leaving Chan with a short stack of around 15,000 chips.
