Chen Snaps Off Kubo’s River Bluff

Chen Hsin Chen raised to 1,100 from the small blind and Jinichi Kubo called in the big blind.

Chen continued for 1,100 on the monotone flop of 4♣ J♣ 5♣ and Kubo tagged along.

When an 8♥ hit on the turn, Chen made another bet of 2,100. Kubo made the call without hesitation.

The river brought the 9♠ . Chen kept his aggression and made his third barrel of 3,100. However, Kubo cranked it up to 10,000. Chen called immediately.

Chen revealed K♦ J♠ for a flopped jacks while Kubo tabled T♣ 6♦ for a bluff, shipping the sizable pot to Chen.
