Wood's Aggression Pays Off

David van Noy opened to 500 under the gun and got called by Andrew Ong in middle position. Anthony Wood, however, represented a stronger hand by three-betting to 1,200. Both players called bringing the trio to the flop.
The dealer unfurled 5♠ Q♥ T♦ which both van Noy and Ong checked. Wood continued the pressure with a 2,100 but failed to shake both players out of the hand as they both called once again.
Still in control of the hand and action being passed to him, Wood shot out 11,000 into the pot, which this time, successfully pushed van Noy and Ong out, allowing him to pick up a nice pot.

One Ten is Enough for Wood
Kai Ma Kuo raised the cutoff to 600 and received two callers from the button and small blind – Anthony Wood and Wei Chen Wang.
Wang checked over the flop of 9♠ 6♣ Q♥ , Kuo continued for 700, which only Wood came along.
Both players checked through 4♥ turn to see a board-pairing 6♥ river, where it went check-check again.
Wood tabled T♦ 8♣ to take down the pot as Kuo showed a 5♠ and mucked his hand eventually.
