Gebow's Blog Worthy Bluff

Level 6: 300 / 600 ante: 600
Ryan Gebow

The action picked up on the K J A flop, with Chi Fan Hsu in the small blind check-calling a 1,000 bet from Ryan Gebow in the big blind.

Hsu checked the T turn, and Gebow fired 2,000 into the pot, with Hsu calling once more.

On the A river, Hsu checked again, and Gebow raised the stakes, pushing 12,500 into the middle. Hsu eventually folded.

A he realised he’d be featured on the APT blog, Gebow casually revealed his hand: 4 4 for an underpair.

Dong Surprised to Win the Pot

Level 3: 200 / 300 ante: 300

Ryan Gebow opened for 600 from cutoff and received a three-bet of 1,600 from Kyung Hyun on the button. Zhen Dong in big blind called and with action back to Gebow, called as well.

The dealer flopped 3 7 2 and both Dong and Gebow check-called Hyun's continuation bet of 2,200.

All three players checked the K turn and the 4 river. First to show, Dong, sure he was beat, tabled A 7 for top pair on the flop. He was visibly surprised and bewildered when Hyun, the aggressor and Gebow, the initial raiser, both mucked their hands to conced the pot to him.
