Mini High Roller Championship (233,000 TWD)

After a relatively short heads-up battle, Wayne Lam has taken down the APT Mini High Roller Championship.

Hand #82: Wai Kiat Lee completed from the button and Wayne Lam raised it up to 600,000 from the big blind. Lam peeked back at his cards and then limp-jammed for 5,900,000. Lam snap-called and the players went to showdown.

Wai Kiat Lee: 4♠ 4♦

Wayne Lam: A♠ Q♦

Lee had pocket fours against the two overs of Lam. If Lam managed to connect with the board he would be the winner of the tournament, whereas if Lee's Sailboats held up, he would take the chip lead.

A flop of 3♣ K♥ 5♥ was great for Lee's pair, and so was the 6♣ turn. With one card to come, Lam was looking for a queen or ace to claim the victory.

The dealer burned a card then produced the Barry Greenstein A♦ on the river, giving Lam the best hand with top pair.

The players shared an embrace and Lee headed to the rail as the runner-up, collecting TWD 5,783,800 (~USD 185,380) for his efforts.

Hand #80: Wai Kiat Lee limped from the button with 7♥ 3♦ and Wayne Lam checked in the big blind with T♣ 5♣.

The flop came Q♣ 9♦ J♦ and both players checked to see the turn of the 8♣. Lam bet out for 400,000 and Lee folded.

Hand #81: Lam called from the button and Lee checked in the big blind.

The flop came 7♥ T♣ 7♦, Lee check-called Lam's 200,000 bet, and the dealer peeled off the 4♣ as the turn.

Lee checked again, as did Lam, and the river came the 9♥. Both players checked and Lam tabled A♠ 4♥ which was way ahead of Lee's K♠ 8♦ and he was pushed the pot.

Hand #76: Wai Kiat Lee limped the button with 8♠ 2♦ and Wayne Lam raised to 600,000 with K♠ K♣. Lee tossed his cards away.

Hand #77: Lam bumped it up to 400,000 with A♥ 4♠ on the button and Lee three-bet K♣ 6♠ to 1,400,000 from the big blind. Lam gave up the pot to Lee.

Hand #78: From the button, Lee limped with A♣ 3♠ and Lam checked his option holding 6♠ 4♠.

Lam check-folded to a bet of 200,000 from Lee on the 8♥ K♠ 3♥ flop.

Hand #79: Lam completed on the button and Lee checked from the big blind.

On the 7♦ 2♠ J♦ flop, Lee checked and then faced a bet of 400,000 from Lam. Lee continued in the form of a call.

A K♠ rolled off on the turn, causing another check from Lee. Lam bet 1,200,000, which Lee decided to call.

The 2♥ completed the board and both players checked. Lee showed 9♦ 7♠ for a pair of sevens, but was second best to the J♥ 8♣ for a pair of jacks of Lam.

Hand #73: Wayne Lam made up from the button with 8♠ 3♠ and Wai Kiat Lee checked his option in the big blind with A♣ 2♥.

The flop came A♥ 5♥ 6♠. Lee checked, and Lam bet out for 160,000. Lee check-raised to 425,000 and Lee folded.

Hand #74: Lee limped from the button with 9♦ 2♦, and Lam, raised to 300,000 from the big blind with 7♠ 4♣. Lee folded and Lam took the pot.

Hand #75: Lam made up from the button and Lee checked in the big blind.

The flop came 6♦ 5♥ T♠, Lee checked, and Lam bet out for 200,000. Lee called.

The dealer peeled off the T♦ as the turn and Lee checked again. Lam fired again for 400,000, and Lee raised to 1,100,000. Lam made the call.

The 5♦ came on the river and Lee bet out for 1,900,000. Lam went into the tank and used one time bank, and made the call. Lam tabled 7♦ 5♣ but Lee flipped over the T♥ 7♥ for a better full house and was shipped the pot.

Hand #72: Wai Kiat Lee raised to 320,000 from the button with Q♦ 2♦ and Wayne Lam defended 9♠ 5♠ from the big blind.

Check-check came after the 6♥ T♥ 9♣ flop to see the K♠ hit the turn. Lam checked again and Lee fired out a bet of 550,000. Lam opted to just call.

An 8♠ fell on the river, producing a find check from Lam. Lee tossed out a bet of 1,300,000 causing Lee to go into the tank. After giving it some thought, Lee check-raised to 4,000,000, producing a snap-fold from Lee.

Hand 71: Johan Schultz-Pedersen moved all in from the button for 970,000 and Wai Kiat Lee called from the big blind.

Not the flop Schultz-Pedersen wanted to see of J♣ A♥ 6♠ and he needed some serious help. None came on the 8♠ turn nor the 2♥ river and Schultz-Pedersen was sent to the rail in third spot.

Hand #70: Wai Kiat Lee raised to 320,000 from the button and Wayne Lam defended from the big blind.

The flop came 6♣ 7♠ 2♥ and both players checked to see the 6♦ come on the turn. The action went check-check again and the dealer peeled off the 5♠ as the river.

Lam bet out for 350,000 and Lee called. Lam tabled 7♣ 5♠ for two pair, and Lee mucked Q♠ T♦ for queen-high and Lam was sent the pot.

Hand #66: Wayne Lam raised Q♠ 7♥ from the button to 320,000 and Johan Schultz-Pedersen peeled from the big blind holding K♣ T♣.

Schultz-Pedersen checked the A♠ 3♦ 4♠ flop and Lam placed out a continuaiotn-bet of 200,000. Schultz-Pedersen snap-folded.

Hand #67: Wai Kiat Lee raised to 320,000 on the button and Lam defended out of the big blind.

The dealer fanned out a flop of 5♠ 9♦ 9♠, and Lam checked. Lee checked behind for the K♥ to arrive on the turn. Once Lam checked again, Lee tossed out a bet of 200,000. Lam opted to continue in the form of a call.

A 6♥ completed the board, causing one final check from Lam. Lee fired out for 700,000, which Lam called.

Lee turned over A♦ 9♥ for trip nines to take down the pot, as Lam mucked K♣ 7♣ for top pair.

Hand #68: Schultz-Pedersen jammed from the small blind with Q♣ 6♣ for 970,000 and won the pot.

Hand #69: Lam limped the button with J♣ 4♣ before Lee raised to 740,000 with A♣ 9♣ from the small blind. Lam let go of his hand when it got back to him.

Hand #63: Wayne Lam raised to 320,000 from the button, and Johan Schultz-Pedersen defended from the big blind.

The flop came Q♦ 3♦ 3♣, Schultz-Pedersen checked, and Lam checked behind for the 4♠ to come on the turn. The action went check-check and the dealer flipped over the T♦ as the river.

Schultz-Pedersen bet out for 550,000, and Lam made the call. Lam tabled A♣ 9♠ for ace high and took the pot as Schultz-Pedersen had 8♥ 2♥ for total air.

Hand #64: Wai Kiat Lee raised to 320,000 from the button with Q♠ 9♠ and Lam three-bet all in from the small blind to with 9♥ 9♦. Lee folded and Lam took the pot.

Hand #65: Lam made up from the small blind with K♣ 8♥ and Lee checked his option in the big blind.

The dealer peeled off the flop of 9♥ 9♣ 5♣. Lam fired out for 160,000 and Lee called.

The 6♦ came on the turn, and Lam checked to Lee, who bet out for 550,000. Lam folded and Lee took the pot.

Hand #62: Michael Egan jammed the button for 1,700,000 and Wayne Lam made the call out of the small blind.

Michael Egan: A♥ 9♠

Wayne Lam: J♠ J♦

Egan was the shortest stack and just needed to find an ace to be right back in the mix.

The dealer produced a runout of 2♦ 7♥ Q♣ 2♣ 3♦, which kept the pocket jacks of Lam ahead the whole way, and Egan was gone in fourth for TWD 3,245,900 (~USD 104,035).

Hand #59: Michael Egan shoved on the first hand after the break for his last 930,000 from under the gun and was looked up by Johan Schultz-Pedersen in the big blind to be put at risk.

Michael Egan: 2♠ 2♣

Johan Schultz-Pedersen: A♠ K♥

It was a race, but the 2♥ Q♥ J♣ flop pulled Egan into a commanding lead with a set. Schultz-Pedersen still had outs to Broadway; however, the J♠ turn left Schultz-Pedersen drawing dead.

An irrelevant K♠ completed the board and Egan doubled his short stack.

Hand #60: Schultz-Pedersen shoved for 1,900,000 from the small blind with A♥ 8♦ and Egan tanked for a while with 3♠ 3♦ in the big blind before sliding his cards into the muck.

Hand #61: Schultz-Pedersen shoved for 2,200,000 on the button with A♠ J♣ and took down the blinds.

The final four players have been sent on a 15-minute break.

There was no lack of action in the first few levels of play, with Daisuke Ogita, Trong Ngo, Anthony Hu, Paulius Plausinaitis, and Dumitru Pora all finding themselves on the rail.

Wayne Lam claimed two of those eliminations and has assumed a solid chip lead.

Hand #55: Wayne Lam raised to 250,000 from the button with 9♠ 8♥ and took down the blinds.

Hand #56: Wai Kiat Lee raised to 240,000 from the button with Q♣ 8♥ and took down the blinds.

Hand #57: Johan Schultz-Pedersen raised to 3000,000 from the button with A♦ 9♠ and Lam three-bet to 1,000,000 with A♠ 2♥. Schultz-Pedersen folded, and Lam took the pot.

Hand #58: Lam made up from the small blind with 9♣ 6♦ and Lee checked his option in the big blind with 7♠ 3♠.

The flop came K♥ A♠ A♦ and both players checked to see the 3♥ drop on the turn. Lam checked to Lee, who bet 120,000 and took the pot.

Hand #54: Dumitru Pora jammed to 750,000 from the cutoff and Wayne Lam made the call from the small blind to try and bust him.

Pora was in great shape to double up to a stack of ten big blinds. All he had to do was dodge a six on the runout.

The flop fell 6♦ T♣ A♥ and Lam propelled himself into the lead with a set.

The K♠ turn meant only a nine on the river would save Pora from the rail.

A 3♣ completed the board, which wasn't the card Pora needed, and he was out in fifth place for TWD 2,588,200 (~USD 82,955).

Hand #50: Wayne Lam looked down at J♣ 7♠ and raised to 250,000 on the button. Action then folded to Wai Kiat Lee and he three-bet to 925,000 with K♦ K♣ from the small blind, which got a quick fold from Lee.

Hand #51: Lee raised to 240,000 on the button with K♦ 3♥ and Dumitru Pora defended his big blind holding T♠ 4♠.

Pora check-called a 160,000 bet from Lee on the 5♣ 7♦ 6♥ flop with his straight draw, but check-folded after Lee bet 225,000 on the 5♦ turn.

Hand #52: Lee opened to 240,000 with T♦ 9♥ and everyone folded.

Hand #53: Michael Egan called from the small blind with J♦ 9♣ and Lam checked his option holding Q♣ J♣ in the big blind.

Both players checked on the K♣ 3♣ 2♥ flop and then Egan led out for 180,000 on the 5♣ turn. Lam raised to 500,000 with his flush, which got a quick fold from Egan.

Hand #47: Wayne Lam open jammed all in from under the gun with 7♣ 6♣ and took down the pot.

Hand #48: Wai Kiat Lee made it 240,000 to play from under the gun with K♣ J♥ and took down the blinds.

Hand #49: Wayne Lam jammed all in from the big blind with Q♦ 3♣ and Wai Kiat Lee went into the tank in the big blind and got counts on the other players before he made the call for his tournament life.

A wonderful flop came for Lee of A♣ T♠ 2♦ but when the K♦ came on the turn, he had to dodge a jack to stay alive. The river bricked out with the 8♣ and Lee was shipped the pot for a full double up.

Hand #42: Wayne Lam raised to 240,000 with J♠ 5♠ from under the gun and won the hand.

Hand #43: Dumitru Pora raised half his stack to 680,000 with A♥ 9♦ from the button and picked up the pot.

Hand #44: Michael Egan, with K♠ K♣ min-raised to 240,000 on the button and Wai Kiat Lee defended Q♣ 9♣ from the big blind.

Lee started with a check on the A♦ 4♠ A♠ flop and then folded to Egan's bet of 120,000.

Hand #45: Lam made it 240,000 with 7♣ 5♠ on the button and Johan Schultz-Pedersen three-bet to 950,000 out of the big blind with A♦ A♣. Lam pondered briefly and then let go of his hand.

Hand #46: Lam bumped it up to 240,000 from the cutoff with Q♣ J♥ and Pora defended A♦ 7♥ in the big blind.

After seeing the Q♠ 9♠ J♣ flop, Pora checked, and Lam decided to check behind.

The 3♥ arrived on the turn and Pora check-folded to Lam's delayed continuation-bet of 350,000.

Hand #41: Paulius Plausinaitis raised to 240,000 from the hijack and it was folded to Wayne Lam, who three-bet to 550,000 in the cutoff. Action came back around to Plausinaitis who shoved all in for 1,800,000 total. Lam quickly called to put Plausinaitis at risk and a showdown was held.

It was bad timing from Plausinaitis as he found himself dominated, and the 5♣ T♦ A♣ 2♥ 8♣ runout kept Lam best with his king-kicker to eliminate Plausinaitis in sixth place.

Hand #38: Dumitru Pora raised to 250,000 from the cutoff with K♦ J♥ and took down the blinds.

Hand #39: Paulius Plausinaitis raised to 200,000 from the button with K♦ Q♥ only for Wayne Lam to three-bet all in to 5,500,000 from the small blind with 8♥ 7♣. Plausinaitis tanked for a short time and folded, and Lam took the pot.

Hand #40: Lam raised from the button to 210,000 with and Johan Schultz-Pedersen called from the big blind.

The flop came K♥ T♠ 7♣ and Schultz-Pedersen checked to Lam, who continued for 150,000. Schultz-Pedersen made the call.

The turn brought the 2♥. Schultz-Pedersen checked again, and Lam fired out for 550,000. Schultz-Pedersen made the call once more.

The river saw the 4♣ peel off. Schultz-Pedersen checked once more, and Lam checked behind. Lam tabled Q♠ 6♦ which was good against Schultz-Pedersen's 9♥ 8♥.

Hand #33: Johan Schultz-Pedersen made it 200,000 from under the gun with A♦ 7♣ and Wayne Lam three-bet to 700,000 holding 3♥ 3♣ from the small blind. Schultz-Pedersen let his hand go.

Hand #34: Michael Egan raised the hijack to 200,000 with A♠ 6♠, and for the third hand in a row, Lam decided to three-bet, this time he chose to 500,000, holding A♦ 9♦. Everyone else folded and Lam won another pot.

Hand #35: Paulius Plausinaitis bumped it up to 200,000 from the hijack with K♠ 9♠ and Wai Kiat Lai ripped it in for 1,600,000 from the button holding K♣ Q♣. The rest of the table folded.

Hand #36: Lam raised to 200,000 with T♣ 9♥ and was immediately three-bet to 450,000 by Lee out of the cutoff. Everyone folded and Lee picked up the pot with K♥ J♥.

Hand #37: Schultz-Pederson raised to 200,000 with A♦ 8♠ and Plausinaitis defended K♠ Q♦ out of the big blind.

On the 8♥ T♥ 4♠ flop, Plausinaitis check-folded to Schultz-Pederson's continuation-bet of 150,000.

Hand #28: Dumitru Pora opened to 250,000 first to act with A♥ J♦ and took down the blinds.

Hand #29: Johan Schultz-Pedersen called from the small blind with 7♣ 6♦ and folded after Pora made it 350,000 to go from the big blind with Q♣ 3♠.

Hand #30: Pora raised to 400,000 with J♦ J♣ from the small blind and Michael Egan folded in the big blind.

Hand #31: Schultz-Pedersen raised to 200,000 in the cutoff with K♥ T♠ and Paulius Plausinaitis defended his big blind with 6♠ 5♠.

The flop came A♠ 7♦ T♦ and Plausinaitis check-folded facing a 150,000 bet from Schultz-Pedersen.

Hand #32: Pora raised to 200,000 holding A♠ J♣ in the cutoff and action folded to Wayne Lam, who three-bet to 600,000 with T♠ T♥ in the big blind. Pora called.

Lam continued for 300,000 after flopping a set on the A♦ Q♠ T♣ flop and Pora called.

The 6♥ fell on the turn and Lam barreled 600,000 into the middle. Pora tanked a bit and then called.

Both players checked on the 2♥ river and Lam was sent the pot.

Hand #23: Wayne Lam raised to 220,000 from the cutoff with K♠ 9♦ and Wai Kiat Lee three-bet to 675,000 from the button with A♦ 5♦ and Lam folded.

Hand #24: Johan Schultz-Pedersen made it 200,0000 to play with A♥ K♥ from the button only for Dumitru Pora to three-bet to 650,000 from the small blind. Michael Egan folded 8♦ 8♣ from the big blind, and Schultz-Pedersen four-bet jammed for 3,800,000 all in. Pora folded to give Schultz-Pedersen the pot.

Hand #25: Michael Egan made up from the small blind with 8♦ 7♠ and Paulius Plausinaitis checked his option in the big blind. The flop came 4♠ Q♥ 9♣ and the action went check-check for the 4♦ to peel off on the turn.

The 4♦ came on the turn, and it was checked again for the 8♠ to drop on the river. Egan bet 100,000 and took the pot.

Hand #26: Wai Kiat Lee raised to 200,000 from under the gun with A♥ J♦ and Egan with 9♥ 9♦ on the button made it 1,100,000. Lee folded, and Egan took the pot.

Hand #27: Lam raised from the small blind to 200,000 with 6♠ 2♣ and took down the blinds.

Hand #22: Anthony Hu raised to 160,000 from under the gun and Dumitru Pora three-bet from the next seat to 350,000. When it got back to Hu, he four-bet jammed for 1,300,000, and Pora sanpped him off.

Dumitru Pora: A♥ A♣

Hu was on the wrong end of a brutal cooler and needed a miracle to crack aces, and stay alive in the event.

A flop of 7♦ 4♣ 6♥ came down, leaving Hu in bad shape with only running cards to help him.

The Q♣ cemented his elimination, as the 2♠ river was just a necessity.

Pora moved up to 3,600,000, while Hu headed for the exit with TWD 1,446,900 (~USD 46,375) for his seventh place exit.

Hand #16: Johan Schultz-Pedersen shoved from the small blind with A♥ 5♥ from the small blind and Anthony Hu folded in the big blind.

Hand #17: Johan Schultz-Pedersen raised to 160,000 on the button with A♥ 2♠ on the button and took down the blinds.

Hand #18: Hu raised to 700,000 on the button and won the blinds.

Hand #19: Michael Egan called from the small blind with A♠ 2♣ and Paulius Plausinaitis checked his option in the big blind with K♣ 9♠.

The flop came T♠ J♠ 5♣ and Plausinaitis called an 80,000 bet from Egan.

The Q♣ turn gave Plausinaitis a straight and he called a 230,000 barrel from Egan.

Egan checked after the 9♣ completed the board and quickly folded after Plausinaitis bet 450,000.

Hand #21: Michael Egan made it 160,000 with K♥ J♣ from the cutoff and won the pot.

Hand #12: Wayne Lam raised to 160,000 with K♦ K♣ from under the gun, and the rest of the table folded.

Hand #13: Paulius Plausinaitis raised to 320,000 with 4♦ 3♦ from the small blind only for Lam to three-bet to 800,000 with A♣ J♠, and Plausinaitis folded.

Hand #14: Johan Schultz-Pedersen raised to 160,000 from under the gun with A♠ 6♠ and action folded to Wai Kiat Lee in the big blind who made the call.

The flop came 2♥ A♥ 6♥. Lee check-called Schultz-Pedersen's 110 000 continuation, and the dealer peeled off the 4♣ as the turn. Lee checked, and Schultz-Pedersen bet out for 500,000. Lee went into the tank and folded his cards.

Hand #15: Plausinaitis raised to 160,000 from the cutoff and Schultz-Pedersen flat-called from the big blind with.

The flop came 8♠ 8♦ 2♣ and both players checked. The turn brought the J♦ and it went check-check again.

The Q♥ dropped on the river, and it was checked down again. Schultz-Pedersen tabled K♠ Q♠. and was sent the pot as he hit his pair on the river to outdraw Plausinaitis and his 9♠ 9♦.

Hand #11: Johan Schultz-Pedersen bumped it up to 160,000 out of the hijack and Trong Hieu Ngo defended from the big blind.

Ngo knuckled the action over to Schultz-Pedersen on the 7♦ 4♣ A♥ flop and Schultz-Pedersen bet 110,000. Ngo continued with a call.

A 5♣ hit the turn and Ngo took a few moments before jamming for 640,000. Schultz-Pedersen immediately called.

Ngo had shoved right into the aces-up of Schultz-Pedersen, but he did have a double-gutshot and trip outs he could hit to stay alive.

It wasn't to be though as the 5♥ completed the board to give Schultz-Pedersen a boat, and Ngo was out in eighth place for TWD 1,048,400 (~USD 33,600).

Hand #7: Paulius Plausinatis raised to 160,000 from the cutoff holding J♣ 8♣ and folded after Wai Kiat Lee shoved for 2,100,000 from the small blind with A♦ T♦.

Hand #8: Michael Egan opened to 160,000 from early position and called after Anthony Hu shoved for 590,000 to put Hu at risk.

Michael Egan: K♥ 8♥

The A♥ T♥ 7♠ flop paired Hu's ace, but gave Egan a sweat with a flush draw. However, the 2♣ turn and J♦ river bricked out and Hu was awarded the double up.

The flop came 9♣ T♠ 6♣ and gave Ogita some additional outs, and when the T♦ came on the turn he picked up some additional chop outs but the K♦ peeling off on the river was no help and Ogita was sent to the rail in ninth spot.

Hand #1: From under the gun, Trong Hieu Ngo raised to 120,000 with A♦ J♠ and Michael Egan defended his big blind holding A♣ 8♥.

Egan checked first on the Q♥ 7♦ 9♣ flop, and Ngo checked behind.

Egan checked for a second time on the 2♥ turn and then folded after Ngo bet 250,000.

Hand#2: Wayne Lam raised to 120,000 with K♣ T♥ from early position and won the pot.

Hand #3: Johan Schultz-Pedersen raised A♥ 2♥ from middle position and picked up the blinds and ante.

Hand #4: Lam opened it up to 120,000 holding T♠ 9♠ from under the gun and took it down.

Hand #5: Schultz-Pedersen, with A♦ Q♠, bumped it up to 120,000 from early postion and Paulius Plausinaitis three-bet to 440,000 from the big blind. Schultz-Pedersen quickly folded.

With 12 minutes left on Level 24, the final nine players have taken their seats and cards are in the air!

The final day of the Mini High Roller Championship is upon us, here at Red Space 多元商務空間, Taipei.

With this event being one of the last chances for players to get their hands on an Exclusive APT Lion Championship trophy, it drew in a huge total of 184 (143 uniques) entrants, generating a massive prize pool of TWD 38,687,693 (~USD 1,239,990).

With two days of play now in the books, the starting field of 184 players has been whittled down to just the final nine left standing to take their shot at the title and the massive first-place prize money of TWD 8,569,093 (~USD 274,650).

Top of the pile is Australia’s Michael Egan, who amassed a huge 3,510,000 over the first two days of play. Close behind Egan is Lithuania’s Paulius Plausinaitis with 3,315,000 and rounding out the final table starting podium is Hong Kong’s Wayne Lam with 2,910,000.

Egan got a huge chunk of his chips when he eliminated Roman Hrabec in 15th place. Egan is looking to take down his first APT title and push his lifetime earnings to near the USD 2m mark.

Fourth on Lithuania’s all-time money list, Plausinaitis, is also in the hunt for his first APT title, and he will cross the USD 3 million in lifetime earnings with a top-five finish at the final table. Plausinaitis got a massive boost to his stack when his trips were paid off to the max.

Taiwan’s Lam is already guaranteed his second biggest live cash to date, and a first-place finish will top his highest ever score, which was here in Taipei back in April when he came third in the APT Taipei Mani Event. Lam got a lovely double up near the close of play yesterday when his aces held.

Denmark’s Johan Schultz-Pedersen (2,390,000) will be looking to make it a double bubble High Roller Trophy trip after he took down Event 16 Single Day High Roller for TWD 1,430,280 here at APTC Taipei 2025. A third-place finish or higher will take his lifetime earnings across the USD One Milly milestone, and he will be striving hard to achieve this huge landmark.

Malaysia’s Wai Kiat Lee, starting in sixth spot (1,435,000), cannot be ruled out ever and has the credentials to prove it. With over USD 20m in lifetime earnings and sitting third on Malaysia’s all-time money list, Lee will pick his spots wisely and look to build his stack to take a shot at his first APT title.

American Anthony Yuan Hu is in the same boat as Pedersen and looking to make room in his luggage for a second trophy from this trip after taking down Event 3 Single Day High Roller for TWD 1,140,700. With over USD 3m in lifetime earnings, even though he comes in as the short stack (670,000) at the final table, he can never be ruled out.

All nine remaining players have already locked up TWD 866,600 (~USD 27,775), but all eyes will be on the top dog’s take-home pay of TWD 8,569,093 (~USD 274,650).

Play will resume at 11.15am today and commence with 12 minutes left of Level 24 where the blinds will be 30,000/60,000 with a 60,000 big blind ante.

Levels will be 40 minutes, and there will be a 15-minute break after every three levels. There is no scheduled dinner break.
