Naing maintained his momentum through the final level, capping off Day 1 perfectly by scooping a pot against Van Dong with turned trip queens, shortly after eliminating Dylan Foster with ace-queen.

The second-highest stack belongs to Denmark’s Martin Godsk Stausholm, the 2019 APT Manila High Roller Single Day champion, who surpassed the three-million milestone in total live earnings, accumulated impressive 2,340,000 chips to start Day 2.

The two read a flop of 5♠ K♠ 3♦ , and Yeung bet 8,000 before Tan dropped in a call to see the 3♥ turn, where the action went check-check.

The river showed A♥ , and both decided to check over to a free showdown. Yeung tabled two pair with A♣ Q♣ , making Tan muck his hand.
