Ward Bubbles in Painful Fashion
Thomas Ward raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Willliam Teoh three-bet to 300,000. When the action got back to Ward, he shoved all in for 1,200,000. Teoh went into the tank, but eventually, he dropped in the call.
Thomas Ward: K♥ K♠
William Teoh: T♠ T♥
Ward was in great shape to double up, and the flop of J♦ 6♥ J♣ kept his Cowboys well in the lead. However, things took a turn for the worse for Ward when the T♦ dropped, which improved Teoh to a full house. Only a river king or jack could save Ward from bubbling, however the A♦ hit the river, which meant Ward departed empty-handed.
