Nang Nguyen raised to 18,000 from under the gun, and William Teoh three-bet to 30,0000 from the hijack. This was followed by a string of folds from other players until the action went back to Nguyen. Nguyen then shoved all in for 250,000. Teoh dropped in the call to put his opponent at risk.

The board swiftly came 7♥ Q♣ 6♦ J♦ A♥ , improving Nguyen to two pair, but it still couldn’t best a turned set of jacks from Teoh, who terminated Nguyen’s tournament life.

Quang Nguyen opened in middle-position and got three-bet by William Teoh sitting next to him. The flop came down Q♥ 9♠ 4♦ and Teoh continued with a continuation bet. Nguyen called.

On the 3♠ Teoh jammed all-in for 135,000 and after some deliberation time Nguyen called.

The river did not improve Nguyen hand, giving Teoh a full double up.

Nang Nguyen limped in from the small blind, and Juji Yajinuma raised to 22,000 from the big blind. Nguyen dropped in a call.

Nang Nguyen checked on the flop of K♣ 6♣ 8♦ , and Yajinuma continued with a bet of 40,000 only to be jammed by Nguyen for 177,000. After thinking for a while, Yajinuma threw one purple chip in the middle and announced “Call.”

Nguyen picked up a flush and straight draw, meaning Yajinuma needed to fade many cards to win the pot. The dealer soon delivered a runout of 5♥ T♠, improving Nguyen to a straight.

Both saw a 6♣ fell on the turn, where the action went check-check, and the river brought T♦ , which Nang checked the action to Mehdi, who then bet 17,000 this time. Nang called to take it to a showdown.

Mehdi showed two pair with Q♠ Q♥ , making Nang muck his hand.
