Westmorland Serves Elimination to Neilson

Level 17: 15,000 / 30,000 ante: 30,000

Daniel Neilson opened the hijack to 60,000 only to receive a three-bet to 180,000 from Jordan Westmoreland on the button. Neilson dropped in a call.

Both saw a flop of T 8 Q , and Neilson checked the action to Westmorland, who then fired out 125,000. However, this didn’t deter Neilson from shoving all in. After few seconds, Westmorland made the call to put his opponent at risk.

Daniel Neilson: Q J

Jorda Westmorland: A Q

The two flopped a queen, and Westmorland picked up the lead with his ace. The dealer swiftly sent the unfortunate news for Neilson as the dry runout came 6 T , showing Neilson out of the door.

Neilson Continues to Chip Up

Level 11: 4,500 / 9,000 ante: 9,000
Daniel Neilson

Playing only five handed, Thomas Ward opened from early-position and got three-bet by Daniel Neilson to 90,000 in the big-blind. He made the call and both players were off to a flop.

The flop came down 5 3 3 and Neilson continued with a 95,000 bet. Ward called. The turn brought the spicy A and Neilson put out another half pot bet, equaling 180,000 chips. Ward looked annoyed, saying his hand is too strong to fold. But yet, decided to let his cards go. "You had Jacks?" Neilson asked his opponent. "I had Tens" he said with a chuckle.
