River Comes for Chang
Alexander Lynskey limped in from the small blind and Nevan Chang checked to take it into the streets.
Both saw a monotone flop of 8♠ 7♠ J♠ and checked through to see the 9♥ land on the turn, where the action went check-check again.
A 3♠ dropped on the river, and Lynskey checked the action to Chang, who changed his strategy and bet 12,000. Lynskey then raised to 75,000, but it didn’t defer Chang from dropping in a call.
Chang tabled an unbeatable flush with K♠ 5♣ , leaving Lynskey no choice but to concede the pot.

Lynskey Flops a Set to Eliminate Mehdi
On the flop of 5♣ 2♥ 7♥ , Alexander Lynskey from the small blind checked the action to Chaoui Mehdi from the cutoff. Mehdi then bet 6,500 and Lynskey called.
A J♦ fell on the turn, where Lynskey checked again to Mehdi, who fired out 22,000 this time. Lynskey called quickly to see the 2♥ river. Lynskey kept his strategy and checked. Mehdi shoved all in for around 100,000. Lynskey snap-called.
Mehdi flipped A♦ J♥ for a pair of jacks but it was no match for a flopped set of sevens from Lynskey’s 7♣ 7♠ .

Lynskey With Pure Aggression
The cut-off opened and Chaoui Mehdi, who joined the tournament a few minutes earlier, three-bet to 11,000. Sitting in the big-blind, Alexander Lynskey cold four-bet to 32,000, Obara got out of the way, and Mehdi called.
On 7♥ 3♥ 2♣ Lynskey bet out 35,000, which got called by Mehdi. The turn brought the 3♠ and the Aussie put full pressure on Mehdi by going all in for 130,500. Mehdi could not believe it but decided to lay down his hand. Lynskey then cold-blooded showed the 5♠ .
