Kim Enriquez Has Been Eliminated in 12th Place For PHP 1,001,000 (~$17,020)

Level 29: 50,000 / 100,000 ante: 100,000
Kim Enriquez

Having just lost a flip, Kim Enriquez shoved from the button for almost 1,100,000, and John Costiniano called from the small blind.

Kim Enriquez: K T

John Costiniano: A K

Enriquez was dominated but did pick up a flush draw on the 3 2 A flop. However, it was just false hope as the 8 turn and A river meant Enriquez was eliminated in twelfth.

Kim and Enriquez Swap Stacks

Level 29: 50,000 / 100,000 ante: 100,000

SJ Kim shoved for around 1,000,000 from the cutoff and Kim Enriquez called from the big blind.

SJ Kim: 2 2

Kim Enriquez: A Q

It was a classic flip that was all too familiar deep in a poker tournament. This one went the way of Kim as his ducks held up on the 7 4 9 T 8 runout, which saw the two players swap stacks.

Westmorland Takes Down a Pot, Antezana Amongst Chip Leaders

Level 25: 20,000 / 40,000 ante: 40,000
Jordan Westmorland

Kim Enriquez opened to 80,000 from early position and Jordan Westmorland made it 225,000 from the hijack. When it got back to Enriquez, he called.

On the 5 K 4 flop, Westmorland fired 150,000, which got the job done as Kim folded.

That takes Westmorland's stack to around 1,850,000, but the big stack at Table #35 is Edgar Antezana, who has almost 3,000,000 chips right now and is amongst the chip leaders with 30 players remaining.

Enriquez and Kim Jabbing Each Other

Level 24: 15,000 / 30,000 ante: 30,000

Gab Yong Kim raised to 65,000 from the cut-off and Kim Enriquez called from the button. The flop dropped A K 4 . Kim bet 55,000 and Enriquez folded.

In the next hand, Gab Yong Kim raised from the hi-jack to 65,000 with Enriquez re-popping to 130,000. This time, Kim folded.

It can't be helped. Gab Young Kim and Kim Enriquez are seated next to each other and will be jabbing each other back and forth until one is removed from the table, either to change seat or to bust out.

Verbruggen Delivers a Knockout Early

Level 11: 800 / 1,600 ante: 1,600

Dylan Lim raised to 3,200 from under the gun and received three callers, Tom Verbruggen from middle position, Emmanuel Segismundo from the hijack, and Kim Enriquez from the big blind.

Four players read the flop of 4 Q T , where Enriquez and Lim checked over and Verbruggen bet 6,000, which Segismundo shoved all in for around 20,0000 and Verbruggen only dropped in a call.

Tom Verbruggen: K J

Emmanuel Segismundo: A Q

Verbrggen picked up a flush draw, but Segismundo got a flopped pair of queens. Soon the dealer delivered a runout of 7 3 , which stood at Verbruggen’s side and sent Segismundo out of the tournament early.

Battle of the Big Stacks

Level 11: 800 / 1,600 ante: 1,600
Tom Verbruggen

On a flop of 5 8 9 , Tom Verbruggen, on the button, waited for Kim Enriquez to respond to his 17,000-chip bet. After some thought, Enriquez made the call.

The turn brought the 7 , and both players checked. On the 2 river, Enriquez passed the action again, prompting Verbruggen to fire a hefty bet of 90,000. This put Enriquez in a difficult spot, as calling would cut his stack in half if he lost. He carefully counted and separated chips, before finally making the call.

Verbruggen revealed K K , and with no answer for the kings, Enriquez mucked. Verbruggen scooped the pot, further strengthening his stack.
