Slightly behind, Diep’s less than 5BB stack couldn’t survive any longer after he got it in with K♠ Q♥ against Ta Son Tung’s A♣ 3♣ . The flop quickly revealed a King, giving Diep top pair. The river however, completed Ta’s flush and left Diep bubbling out in 9th.

Nguyen checked, and Ha continued with an all-in for 600K. Nguyen used up all his time banks before making the fold and showing A♥ J♣ for top pair. Gutsy Ha returned the favor and showed 5♦ 6♦ , winning the pot.
Ta Son Tung busts Nguyen Huu Thanh Tung with bottom pair

Hyper agressive Ta Son Tung delivered a painful elimination for Nguyen Huu Thanh Tung right on Table 28. On a board of 8♠ 9♣ 4♣ 3♠ , Ta moved all-in as to which Nguyen called off for the rest of his chips with Q♠ 7♠ . Ta Son Tung showed bottom pair 3♣ 5♠ as Nguyen only had a Queen-high flush draw. The river bricked and Nguyen Huu Thanh Tung left in 24th place.

Turn came a 3♣ yet still did not change the hand’s results. Nhat claimed the pot and is now sitting with slightly over 900K.

The river revealed K♥ and Ha check-called his opponent’s 120K bet after using several time banks. Ha showed J♥ 4♣ , good enough to beat the player’s A♠ Q♠ .
Tuan Tien Hai goes through massive swings

Local runner Tuan Tien Hai appears to be always in the middle of the action, having taken a chunk off of Nguyen Ngoc Dai and busting him out shorty after. On a flop of 6♥ 5♣ 7♣ , Tuan check-jammed with 7♥ 7♠ against Nguyen’s bet from the button. Nguyen called behind with 4♦ 4♠ but was unable to catch a straight. With a short stack, Nguyen crashed again into Tuan a few hands later for a final exit.
With the recovery, Tuan again lost a 500K pot after getting it all-in pre flop with A♦ Q♦ against Nguyen Huu Thanh Tung’s better A♠ K♥ .
