Slightly behind, Diep’s less than 5BB stack couldn’t survive any longer after he got it in with K♠ Q♥ against Ta Son Tung’s A♣ 3♣ . The flop quickly revealed a King, giving Diep top pair. The river however, completed Ta’s flush and left Diep bubbling out in 9th.

The remaining eight players move on to the final table led by Nguyen Van Trung.

Aggressive local eventually met his demise after shoving right into Choi Hye Jin’s pocket Rocket. Underdog Vu showed Q♦ T♠ and flopped top pair yet still headed for the exit after the runout drew a blank.

Final Day chip leader Nguyen Duc Anh was sent to the rails by Nguyen Doan Trung Hieu after defending his small blind with 5♠ 6♦ . Nguyen Duc Anh opted to lead the flop with an all-in of 505K. Nguyen Doan Trung Hieu made the call with A♦ 5♦ mid-pair and dominated Nguyen Duc Anh’s hand for the pot.

Also hovering around 5BB, Nguyen Quy Quyen on the big blind went with K♥ 4♠ vs Hoang’s button open with Q♣ T♣ . A Ten however, showed up on board and gave Hoang a pair to knock out Nguyen.

Vu on the button against Fechter on the big blind, both players saw a board of Q♠ A♠ T♠ 2♣ . Fechter proceeded to check call Vu’s continuation bet through the turn. The Viet’s double barrel of 300K however, met a rejam for 540K more. Vu folded as Fechter chipped up to over 1.3M.

Action began with Korea’s Choi opening to 110K, called by Final Day chip leader Nguyen Duc Anh from the button. The flop came T♠ K♦ A♠ and Choi continued with a small bet of 50K. Nguyen excitedly moved all-in for 420K in total. Choi tank-folded A♥ J♥ and Nguyen showed A♣ T♣ for two pair.

Short stacked Hwang Seong Il couldn’t hold on any longer as his 9♣ T♣ stood to be a bust against Hoang Hoi Nam’s K♥ 9♥ . The board drew a nine, giving both players a pair -Hoang however, with the better kicker.

Checked to Ha, he sent out a 100K bet and was answered by a check-raise to 230K by Nguyen Van Trung. Ha made the call, and the turn revealed T♥ . Nguyen checked, and Ha continued with an all-in for 600K. Nguyen used up all his time banks before making the fold and showing A♥ J♣ for top pair. Gutsy Ha returned the favor and showed 5♦ 6♦ , winning the pot.

Hyper agressive Ta Son Tung delivered a painful elimination for Nguyen Huu Thanh Tung right on Table 28. On a board of 8♠ 9♣ 4♣ 3♠ , Ta moved all-in as to which Nguyen called off for the rest of his chips with Q♠ 7♠ . Ta Son Tung showed bottom pair 3♣ 5♠ as Nguyen only had a Queen-high flush draw. The river bricked and Nguyen Huu Thanh Tung left in 24th place.

The action began on Nhat as he opened to 75K. Nguyen Viet Cuong called on the button to see a flop of 5♠ Q♥ 8♠ . First to act Nhat immediately moved all-in, followed by a call from Nguyen Viet Cuong. The turn 3♥ and river T♥ did not change anything and Nguyen Viet Cuong took down the pot.

Waking up to A♥ A♣ on the big blind against chip leader Ta Son Tung, the flop A♦ 5♣ 3♦ couldn’t stop all the chips from going in the middle with Ta holding A♠ 3♠ . Turn came a 3♣ yet still did not change the hand’s results. Nhat claimed the pot and is now sitting with slightly over 900K.

Having limped from the small blind, Fechter fired an all-in with A♣ T♦ and left Tran making the call with 8♠ 8♣ . The board however, showed 9♦ 4♦ 6♠ A♥ 3♥ , giving Fechter the win.

The river revealed K♥ and Ha check-called his opponent’s 120K bet after using several time banks. Ha showed J♥ 4♣ , good enough to beat the player’s A♠ Q♠ .

Local runner Tuan Tien Hai appears to be always in the middle of the action, having taken a chunk off of Nguyen Ngoc Dai and busting him out shorty after. On a flop of 6♥ 5♣ 7♣ , Tuan check-jammed with 7♥ 7♠ against Nguyen’s bet from the button. Nguyen called behind with 4♦ 4♠ but was unable to catch a straight. With a short stack, Nguyen crashed again into Tuan a few hands later for a final exit.

With the recovery, Tuan again lost a 500K pot after getting it all-in pre flop with A♦ Q♦ against Nguyen Huu Thanh Tung’s better A♠ K♥ .
