Li tabled T♠ 8♠ for top pair and a flush draw, whilst Kuriki flicked over A♠ A♦ for pocket aces. No help came to Li on the 7♣ river, sending him back to the registration desk.

Tasuku Maruo raised to 400 from early position and was joined to the flop by button Karim Rebei, plus blinds Kenichiro Kawamura and Rintaro Kagawa.

Kawamura, Kagawa and Maruo checked when the K♣ J♥ 8♦ flop was dealt. Rebei fired 1,800 and only Kawamura made the call.

The A♥ landed on the turn and Kawamura checked once more, before calling a second barrel of 1,400 from Rebei.

Main Event Flight B Underway at 12:00 PM

Flight B of the APPT Korea Main Event is now underway at Paradise City Incheon, with the KRW 1,800,000 buy-in event carrying a KRW 1,000,000,000 guarantee. Players receive 30,000 starting stacks and registration remains open until the end of Level 11.

Flight A wrapped up yesterday with 143 entries and 24 survivors, led by Germany's Niko Schmitz with 382,000 chips. Tomoharu Hikino (353,000) and Jinghan Yu (311,000) round out the top three, with APPT National runner-up Xueying Zhao also among the survivors in fifth with 284,000.

Further starting flights follow with Flight C at noon on September 12 and a turbo Flight D at 7:30 PM the same evening. Day 2 takes place on September 13, with the tournament playing down to a champion on September 14. Somuchpoker is on the floor for live updates throughout.
