Paradise City IncheonFollowing a six year hiatus, the Asia Pacific Poker Tour has returned to Paradise City Incheon with a 12-day schedule that includes a variety No Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments catering to a wide array of player preferences and buy-in levels.
While headlined by the KRW 1,000,000,000 (~USD 700,000) guaranteed Main Event, which begins on September 10, the festival gets underway today with Day 1a of the Paradise City Kickoff, featuring a KRW 600,000 (~USD 440) buy-in and a KRW 75,000,000 (~USD 55,000) guarantee.
The action begins at 11 a.m. local time, with players receiving 30,000 starting stacks. Levels will last 30 minutes, with Level 1 starting at 100/200 blinds with a 200 big blind ante. Late registration will remain open until the start of Level 11 at approximately 4:20 p.m.
Play will continue until the field is reduced to approximately 15% of the field, at which point all remaining players will bag up for Day 2 with a guaranteed spot in the money.
The second flight, Day 1b, gets underway at 4 p.m. with an identical structure. Players are permitted to enter both flights and, should a player qualify for Day 2 twice, only their larger qualifying stack will be carried forward. A min-cash will be awarded for the lesser stack, which will then be removed from play.
All players who earn a Day 2 berth will return on Friday, September 4 at 11 a.m. to play down to a winner.
