Yeoh shows A♦ 2♣ while the Korean has 8♣ 8♠ .

The first three community cards already sways the advantage to the Malaysian: A♠ 6♥ Q♣ followed by the 4♥ and the 2♥ for good measure.

Kim’s stack drops to below 13,000 but still serviceable with over 30 BBs.

Malaysia’s Chee Hoong Yeoh opens from UTG for 300 and gets called by Canadian Sid Lukie in the cutoff and Kaifan Wang of the United States on the BB.

The flop is K♠ A♠ J♣ as Wang and Chee, the original raiser, check. Lukie sends out a probing bet of 500 which is check-raised by the American. Chee folds, but Lukie calls. It is Heads Up to the turn where the 5♠ arrives. Wang bets 3,000 and the Canadian lets it go.
