Manh Tuong Ha Bags Top Stack At Flight B

The 4th Annual APPT Cambodia taking place at NagaWorld in Phnom Penh, concluded its second of three flights to its featured APPT National with 179 runners added to the 61 Flight A entries to crack the $150K guarantee with another flight yet to complete.
When the bubble burst, Vietnam’s Manh Tuong Ha emerged as chip leader among the final 27 players, bagging a commanding 516,000. Ha climbed steadily throughout the day, capitalizing on short stacks at his table to claim the top spot in the Day 2 cumulative counts.

Hot on his heels was Mystery Bounty crusher Hao Lin, who kept the momentum going with a 497,000 stack. Also advancing with healthy stacks were notables Donghyup Kim — last year’s APPT Cambodia Main Event runner-up — and 2023 APPT Manila Main Event champion Yuanning Wu.
Players return to action on Wednesday, May 7 at 11:30am for the next stage in the chase for the title. Each one is now guaranteed a payout, easing the pressure as they continue their climb.

APPT Champions In The House

The inaugural APPT Cambodia launched in 2022 and has made NagaWorld in Phnom Penh its home ever since. It was Canadian grinder Alexander Puchalski who etched his name in history as the tour’s first Main Event champion in the country, topping a 378-entry field for a $96,028 payday. Fast forward to early 2025, Puchalski returned to the same venue and ran it back even bigger, this time seizing the WPT Prime Championship title for a career-best score of $233,680. Puchalski is currently grinding it out at Flight B.

Taiwan’s Chao Ting Cheng captured the spotlight at APPT Cambodia 2023, conquering a field of 476 entries to win the tour's second Main Event in the country. Cheng outlasted the 476 entry field which at that time was a career-best payout of $94,448.
Here at APPT National, Cheng missed the mark at Flight A but is back for another attempt at reaching the next stage of the race.

China’s Yuanning Wu triumphed at the APPT Manila 2023 Main Event, overcoming a massive field of 1,354 entries at Okada Manila. Wu banked a career-high payout of ₱11,414,300 (~US$ 204,730), his biggest victory on the live circuit. Wu is currently grinding it out at Flight B of the APPT National here in Cambodia.

More of a cash game player, South Korea’s Donghyup Kim put on an impressive performance at the APPT Cambodia 2024 Main Event, battling through a field of 518 entries and only falling short of the title by one spot. Kim earned a career-best payout of US$ 113,000.
Kim was seen at Flight A but missed. He is currently at the Flight B mix sitting on a big stack of around 70 bb as of Level 10.
