The second key event of the APPT Manila Championship 2024, APPT Open, ran through its Day 2 games with the 61-survivor field down to its final nine players. Local pro Flo Campomanes closed the action with the lead, stacking a mighty 1,700,000 (68 BB) chip count onto the Final Day. Campomanes stormed up the ranks having secured a 100 BB pot off of Christopher Mateo by the last three tables. Gary Thompson follows just eight big blinds behind with 1,510,000 (60 BB).
