Fresh off his double up in cracking the aces of Australian John Edward Perry, Bae Wonchul of Korea faces a raise from chip leader Thomas Ward of New Zealand from UTG for 60,000. Bae 3-bets all-in from the SB for his newly acquired stack of 225,000. Ward makes the quick call.

With the elimination of Bae, Ward now solidifies his claim as the monster stack of the tournament.

After a raise to 60,000 from the D by Australia's John Edward Perry, Bae Wonchul of Korea re-raises all-in for last 90,000 from the BB. Perry makes the call.

It was a fortuitous double up for the Korean and having aces cracked on the livestream is always special.

The action is folded to Bae Wonchul of Korea in the CO and he declares he is all-in and gets a call all-in from Filipino pro Martin Gonzales for his remaining 510,000.

Bae fails to hit any of his over card and is down to less than 100,000 in chips.

Still reeling from the earlier loss, Korea's Bae Wonchul goes all-in for his remaining 230,000 after Hieu Ngo of Vietnam raised from the HJ.

The triumph by Bae drags Hieu's stack down to below the one million mark for the first time in Day 3.

Local bet Darren Yu opens from the HJ for 140,000 and leaves one 5,000 chip behind, indicating that he is committed to the pot regardless of pending action. It is folded around to the BBof Korean Bae Wonchul who decides to flat call.

The flop is Q♦ J♦ 8♦ as Bae flicks in a 5,000 chip. Yu does the same and is officially all-in for his tournament life.

Bae shows A♠ 7♠ while Yu tables K♣ T♠ for a flush draw plus and open-ended straight draw.

The A♣ immediately shows up on the turn to give the Filipino the win and the coup de grace is the 2♦ on the river for the flush.

The victory also puts the Korean's stack in jeopardy as it is down to less than ten BBs.

Former overall chip leader John Edward Perry of Australia has dropped all the way to eighth place in the first leaderboard update of the day. Fellow Australian Thomas Ward now occupies the top spot as he and Filipino pro Lester Edoc are the only ones breaching the two million chip mark at the moment.

In a battle of the blinds, Christopher Mateo limped in and Wonchul Bae checked for a friendly entry into a flop of J♦ 7♦ 8♦. Mateo led out with a 5,000 bet which was raised by Bae to 17,000. Mateo made the call to proceed to the 6♥ turn. Mateo checked. Bae bet out 40,000, then Mateo re-raised to 110,000. Bae tanked, but eventually folded.
