APPT National champion Chen Zhen of China starts the action by raising from the +2 position to 12,000 and gets a phalanx of four callers in Korean Kim Woojin in the HJ, Georgios Skarparis of Cyprus in the CO, American John Joseph Panish in the D and Vietnam's Pham Bao in the BB.

The flop is 3♣ 5♥ Q♠ as Pham, Cen and Kim check. Skarparis, however, leads out for 22,000. Panish, Bao and Chen fold, but Kim makes the ccall. Heads up to the turn of the 3♦, Kim and Skaparis both decide to check. The river is the J♠ as Kim checks again. This time the Cypriot fires 32,000. Kim calls.

Vam Magsakay min-raised to 2,000 from the hi-jack and got Georgios Skarparis at the button and Joris Michl from the small blind to call. All three players were present a flop of 3♠ 5♦ J♠. Action was checked to the raiser, and Magsakay obliged them with a 3,000 bet. Both called to see a 3♦ turn. This time around it was only Michl who check-called the 8,000 bet from Masgsakay. After the 9♠ river was dealt, Michl checked the option to Magsakay, who pushed all-in for the last 16,100. Michl took a last peek at the hole cards and chucked them to the muck pile.

Georgios Skarparis began with a raise to 1,800 from UTG+1, which was re-raised by Joris Michl at the hijack to 5,200. Muhammed Ali Chandna then shoved all-in for 23,800 from the cut-off. Skarparis also pushed all-in and Michl stayed out of the fight.

Katagiri bowed out while Skarparis stayed on to see a flop of 8♥ 5♠ 6♠. Warhust bet out 8,000 and was re-popped to 28,000 by Skarparis. Warhurst pushed back with a 65,300 all-in which Skarparis quickly called.
