Filipino pro Christopher Mateo raises from the HJ to 60,000 and gets re-raised all-in by Cho Jaegeol of Korea for 305,000. China's Li Yan makes the call from the BB as Mateo folds.

Hitting a full house on the turn assured the elimination of Cho by Li and the Chinese lady player ups her stack to over a million.

With 16 players reaming, here's where they stand:

Local veteran Lester Edoc opens from UTG for 50,000 and gets called all the way in the HJ by Korea's Cho Jaegeol.

The flop is J♥ K♠ Q♣ as Edoc CBets for 50,000. Cho calls. The turn is the 4♦ as once again the Filipino fires, this time for 150,000. Cho still makes the call. The river is the 6♠ as Edoc now unloads 600,000. The Korean takes almost forever to act as he uses two Time Bank cards before finally making the call.

Edoc flips over K♥ K♣ for top set on the flop. Cho mucks as Edoc nears the four million chip mark. Cho now in push or fold terrirory.

Former overall chip leader John Edward Perry of Australia has dropped all the way to eighth place in the first leaderboard update of the day. Fellow Australian Thomas Ward now occupies the top spot as he and Filipino pro Lester Edoc are the only ones breaching the two million chip mark at the moment.

After nearing the one million chip mark not too long ago, Filipino pro Florencio Campomanes is looking for redemption as he raises from early position to 32,000. Vietnam's Ngo Hieu decides to join the Filipino but Korea's Cho Jaegeol has other plans as he 3-bets it to 125,000 from the D. After the blinds fold, Campomanes chooses to call while Ngo opts to fold.

It is heads up to the flop of 2♣ T♦ 4♦ as both players check. The turn is the 6♣ and this time the Filipino bets 90,000 and is called by his Korean opponent. The river is the 5♣ . Campomanes checks anew as Cho goes all-in. Cho covers Campomanes and it cost the Filipino a Time Bank card to decide to fold.

Cho now joins the seven digit club.

In a rare unraised pot, Vietnam's Ngo Hieu completes his SB and Cho Jaegeol of Korea checks hs option in the BB.

The flop is 8♣ 5♣ 2♦ . Ngo checks and Cho bets 30,000. The Vietnamese player calls. The turn is the A♥ as once again Ngo opts to check. The Korean fires once again, this time for 55,000. Ngo check-raises to 210,000. Cho makes the call. The river is the 4♦ and suddenly Ngo, who covers his opponent declares he is all-in. Cho can't call.

With the action folded to Korea's Cho Jaegeol in the CO, he makes a raise to 23,000. When it gets to the SB of Englishman Guy Taylor, he 3-bets all-in for his remaining stack of 335,000. The massive raise was still met with a call from the Korean.
