Lee Sunghak

Dohwan Kim min-raised to 8,000 from UTG+2 and was called by small blind Lee Sunghak and big blind Ashley De Guzman. The three players were given a flop of 8 5 7. Action was checked to the pre-flop raiser and Kim c-bet another 8,000. Sunghak made the call, but De Guzman turned it up 5x to 40,000. Kim folded. Sunghak gave it some thought and then pushed all-in for 153,000. De Guzman peeked into his hole and made the call.

Sunghak had a set of eights versus the two-pair of De Guzman who was drawing dead when the Q hit the turn. The T river did not matter.

Intia busted by de Guzman on roller coaster hand

Level 12: 1,000 / 2,000 ante: 2,000
Jester Intia

In the first hand of the day, two Filipinos clashed as action is folded to Ashley de Guzman in the D who raises to 4,500 and is called by Jester Intia in the BB.

The flop comes 7 3 A as both players check. The turn is the 9 . Intia checks and de Guzman lead out for 6,000. Intia then check-raises to 13,500 and de Guzman 3-bets all-in and gets a quick call from Intia for his remaining stack of 95,000.

De Guzman tables A 3 for two pairs on the flop while Intia turns over 9 9 for a set on the turn. The river card, however, produces the A as de Guzman wins the pot with a higher full house and sends the renowned Philippine poker blogger to the sidelines.
