Mystery Bounty Final Day Kicks Off At 11:30am

Level 16: 2,000 / 5,000 ante: 5,000
Kyle Bao Diep - chip leader

At 11:30am today, a deck of 52 players will return to NagaWorld Phnom Penh for the APPT Cambodia - Mystery Bounty event where one lucky player will win the coveted US$ 11,500 top bounty prize. In addition, awaiting the champion is a cool US$ 23,400, quite a decent payday for just a US$ 600 investment.

The Mystery Bounty event advertised a six figure US$ 100,000 guarantee and with 341 turning up across three flights, the pot increased to US$ 178,616. All returning players are guaranteed the buy in amount back with a chance at flipping it into much much more.

Leading the way is Kyle Bao Diep who bagged up the biggest at Flight B. Diep earned a large part of his stack by dusting Alvin Eng's K J top pair on the bubble with K 8 two pair on a flop K 8 2 that held at the turn 7 and river A. Diep has already cashed at the series with a 5th place finish at the Superstack. He enters with a massive 664,000 (133 bb) based on 2000-5000 blinds.

Sha Chengchun

Earning second rank is Flight A chip leader Sha Chengchun, champion of the WPT Cambodia Championship Passport last July. Chengchun continues his strong presence with a stack of 491,000 (98 bb).

Jeorge Lagatuz

The last flight concluded with Matoko Ito railing short stacked Rindra Norodom on the bubble with 5 5 over 5 7 that missed the board. Jeorge Lagatuz locked up the chip lead in that heat and will be one to watch for as he comes from a strong finish at the APPT National in 7th place.

Other players to watch are Anton Poliakov, Xiaosheng Zheng, and nine lives Hironori Yamada as these players were seen at final tables of APPT Cambodia majors the past days.

The hunt begins at 11:30am, be sure to check SMP for fresh updates from start to finish.
