The APPT Warm Up Main Event completed Day 2 with the field trimmed from 105 players to the Final 9. Two Japanese players secured their spot with Kurushima Hiroya at the very top and Hiroaki Terasaka bringing up the rear.

In numbers, three locals advanced and will try to keep the title on home court. Returning players are Ron Ryan Mesina, Badrudin Ampatuan, and Redentor Edoc. Impressively, Mesina was down to just 5 bb and recovered to bag up 19.

Small blind Kyle Anderson makes it 250,00, big blind Kurushima Hiroya defends and go to a flop 6♦ 3♠ J♣ . Anderson bets 260,000 Kurushima calls. Both then check the turn 6♠ . On the river 8♦ , Anderson fires another 385,000 that's met with a shove, Anderson lets go of his hand.

Utg Wei Chen Lin min-raises and small blind Redento Edoc calls to see a flop A♠ 3♠ 6♣ . Lin continues for 125,000, Edoc check-calls. No bets land on the turn 7♣ to drop the river A♣ . Edoc leads out 250,000, Lin calls. Edoc opens Q♥ Q♠ but not good enough against Lin's A♦ 2♦ trips.

From the button Wei Chen Lin opens 200,000, small blind Badrudin Ampatuan three-bets 650,000, big blind Kun Lim four-bets all in, no takers.

Button player Redentor Edoc opens 185,000, Wei Chen Lin three-bets 380,000, Edoc calls and they head to the flop 8♠ 4♣ 3♣ . Lin continues with 250,000 which is enough to induce a fold.

Cutoff Wei Chen Lin opens and big blind Kun Lim defends, board runs T♣ 4♣ 8♥ , Lin continues for 150,000, Lim check-raises all in for 1,035,000, Lin snap-calls.

Down to crumbs, Michael Gabby Concepcion loses his last 1.5 bb to Wei Chen Lim with Q♥ 5♣ dominated throughout by 9♦ 9♣ .

Utg Jonald Garcia opens 105,000 and is called by Kurushima Hiroya on the button. Flop runs 6♥ 8♦ 5♠ , Garcia c-bets 150,000 and Kurushima sticks with him. The turn 7♥ Garcia checks, Kurushima bets 250,000, Garcia shoves, Kurushima calls with less behind.

Ron Ryan Mesina opens 105,000 and big blind Wei Chen Lin defends for a look at the flop 8♦ 5♠ 4♣ . Mesina continues 80,000, Lin check-raises 180,000, Mesina calls. On the turn 2♥ , Lin shoves his massive stack, Mesina gives up on the pot.

Having just doubled up, Junhi Lee picks up another pot then doubles up in this hand. Kun Lim opens 110,000 and big blind Lee defends. Flop runs K♠ J♦ 4♠ , Lim continues with 120,000, Lee check-raises all in for 340,000, Lim calls.

Lee need some help which doesn't come on the turn 3♣ but it does on the river 9♣ for a double up.

Badrudin Ampatuan defends the big blind by calling Michael Gabby Concepcion's 110,000 raise. On the flop 3♣ 2♥ 2♣ , Ampatuan leads out 100,000, Concepcion raises 220,000, Ampatuan calls. On the turn 5♥ , Ampatuan jams and takes it down uncontested.

Action folds to the small blind Mark Remnant, he min-raises, big blind Redentor Edoc defends. Both players check the flop and turn to complete the board J♥ 8♠ Q♣ T♠ K♦ . Remnant bets 80,000, Edoc raises 300,000, Remnant uses one time extension then calls. Edoc shows the winning A♣ 6♠ straight.

Hijack Hiroaki Terasaka raises 235,000 preflop leaving 25,000 behind. Big blind Jay Padilla calls and head to the flop Q♥ 3♣ 6♥ . Terasaka tosses in his remaining chips and Padilla calls again.

Button player Jae Yi Chang opens then calls small blind Wei Chen Lin's 210,000 three-bet. Lin then shoves on a flop A♣ 7♣ 2♣ , Chang gives up his hand. Lin crosses into the 2 Million marker.

Utg+2 Redentor Edoc makes it 90,000 then calls cutoff Philip Baider's 225,000 three-bet. On a flop 3♠ 9♥ 8♣ , Baider sends out 250,000, Edoc lets go of his hand.

From utg, Badrudin Ampatuan opens 65,000 then calls Hal Rotholz 160,000 three-bet. Flop lands 9♦ 4♦ 2♣ , Rotholz continues with a 70,000 bet, Ampatuan check-raises all in for 500,000, Rotholz gives up his hand.

Utg Hiroaki Terasaka opens 65,000 and is looked up by button Philip Baider. Both check to the turn Q♣ 2♠ 7♠ 9♠ , Baider bets 80,000, Terasaka check-calls and head to the river Q♠ . Baider lays out 200,000, Terasaka raises to 450,000, Baider shoves, Terasaka surrenders and drops to 10 bb.

Cutoff Oleg Mordassov opens and big blind Junhui Lee defends. The flop A♠ 2♦ Q♦ sees Mordassov continue with 60,000, Lee check-calls. No bets land on the turn 3♣ then Mordassov sends out 160,000 on the river. Lee folds.

Action folds to the small blind Liao Po Hsun who raises 55,000, big blind Redentor Edoc defends and they head to the flop A♥ 9♥ 4♣ . Liao c-bets 40,000, Edoc calls then both check the turn 8♥ . On the river 5♦ , Liao drops 70,000, Edoc calls then mucks to Liao's winning A♣ J♦ trips.

From utg Badrudin Ampatuan raises 3600, next to act Jae Yi Chang three-bets 85,000, Ampatuan calls. On the flop 5♦ 4♦ 4♣ , Chang sends out 100,000, Ampatuan check-calls to bring the turn Q♠ . Ampatuan leads out with a shove, Chang is covered and opts to fold after using four time extensions.

Junhui Lee opens 25,000 then heads to the flop 6♣ 4♠ 2♦ with two callers. Action folds to button Oleg Mordassov who bets 25,000, only Lee challenges with a check-raise of 100,000. Mordassov answers with a shove, well covering Lee who decides to fold.

From hijack, Ron Ryan Mesina opens then calls small blind Naotsugu Kimura's 70,000 three-bet. With a flop 2♥ 5♠ 5♦ Kimura c-bets 60,000 and gets called. Kimura checks the turn T♠ , Mesina lays out 120,000, Kimura opts to fold.

Heavy preflop bets begin with utg raising 25,000, utg+2 Mark Remnant three-bets 60,000, hijack Badrudin Ampatuan four-bets 115,000, utg folds, Remnant calls to end the first betting round. On the flop 7♥ 9♠ 3♣ , Ampatuan continues with 150,000, Remnant folds.

Naotsugu opens then calls button player Junho Hyeon's 60,000 three-bet. At the flop Q♦ 6♣ 5♣ Kimura bets 70,000, Hyeon folds.

Big blind Benhur Ybarsabal calls a raise by Genji Koga then check-raises all in on a flop 2♦ T♣ 2♠ . Koga opts to fold.
