After the fifteen levels of regulation play, APPT Open Day 1A concluded with 10 players remaining. Australia's Danielle Noja bagged the chip lead of 277,000 (69 bb). Stay tuned for the recap and the chip counts.

Cutoff Marc Rivera opens 8000 then calls Danielle Noja's 18,000 button re-raise. Rivera check-calls 9000 on the flop 6♣ 5♥ K♦ then both check the turn Q♦ . On the river 7♥ , Noja sends out 56,000, Rivera check-calls and shows K♠ 4♠ top pair. Noja mucks.

Button Marc Rivera opens 8000 then calls small blind Danielle Noja's 18,000 three-bet. Noja continues 8000 on the flop T♣ T♥ J♥ . Rivera flats and turn Q♦ lands. Noja fires 32,000 which is enough to induce a fold from Rivera.

Cutoff Kim Min Hwa opens 7000 and Danielle Noja defends his big blind. Flop comes 3♣ 8♣ 8♠ , Noja check-calls 6000 then does the same on the turn T♥ for 24,000. On the river 9♦ , Noja checks again, Kim follows suit, Noja wins the pot wit 8♦ 5♠ trips.

From utg, Arthur Arcero limps in then calls button Seonghun Jeong's 16,000 raise. Arcero leads out the flop 4♥ 3♥ 2♥ for 20,000 to go, Jeong calls. Both check the turn J♥ then Arcero bets 26,000 on the river 9♦ . Jeong surrenders his hand.

Seonghun Jeong opens 6000, blinds call, flop runs 6♦ 5♣ 2♦ . Jeong c-bets 7000, small blind Wanhao Zhang check-raises 20,000, no takers.

Danielle Noja opens 5500 and is joined to the flop 5♥ Q♥ Q♦ by three callers. Noja continues for 7500 and takes it down.

Noja wins the flip to finish off Lagatuz.

Scott Black raises 5000 then calls Andrei Budykin's 12,500 re-raise. Budykin continues 10,500 on a flop 7♣ 9♠ Q♥ , Black check-calls to the turn T♣ . Budykin shoves 61,000, Black calls with less.

From utg+2, Danielle Noja raises 4500, Arthur Acero calls, then big blind Kim Min Hwa three-bets 12,000. Noja and Acero call and they all see a flop 8♠ K♥ 5♥ . Noja bets 18,500, no takers.

Jeorge Lagatuz opens 5000 and finds two callers. Lagatuz c-bets the flop Q♠ 7♦ 5♥ and only Danielle Noja calls. Both check the turn T♣ and river 9♥ . Lagatuz mucks before seeing Noja's cards.

Facing a raise, Marc Rivera three-bets, small blind Lin Wei Chen four-bets 22,000, initial raiser folds, Rivera flats. Both players proceed to check the to the river 8♠ 6♠ 3♣ 8♦ 4♥ . Rivera bets 35,000, Lin calls.

With the turn Q♦ , Georgiou improves to trips that holds on the river 7♥ for a double up.

Cutoff In Ho Song opens 2500 then calls Ronald Haverkamp's 6600 three bet. Haverkamp shoves on the flop 6♠ 4♦ 5♣ , Song calls for his tournament life.

Having lost on a cooler, Francisco Osuna picks up some chips against Emmanuel Derecho who opens from small blind for 3700. Big blind Osuna calls and both check the flop 7♦ 8♥ 5♦ . On the turn T♥ , Derecho bets 6000 that's called and another 10,000 on the river 9♦ . Osuna calls and shows 5♣ 5♠ winner.

Jeong is behind until the turn Q♣ spikes the two-outer higher set and with the river 5♣ , Jeong ships it while booting out a player.

From hijack Francisco Osuna opens 2000, small blinds calls, big blind Lin Wei Chen four-bets 8000, Osuna answers with a five-bet of 18,000, sb folds, Chen goes for 40,000 six-bet, Osuna shoves, Chen folds losing more than half stack.

Francisco Osuna calls a raise from cutoff then follows it up with a 3000 bet on a flop 6♦ 2♦ 8♠ . Graham Cowan check-calls for the turn 9♠ , takes the reins with a 13,600 bet, Osuna flats. Switch up on the river 7♥ with a check from Cowan and a 35,000 bet from Osuna. Cowan calls then mucks to A♥ T♥ straight.

Thomas Ward opens 1800 and heads to the flop J♥ K♠ 8♠ with cutoff caller Marc Rivera. Ward continues 1500 and Rivera calls. On the turn 7♦ , Ward checks, Rivera bets 6000, Ward tosses his cards in the muck.

Emmanuel Derecho defends the big blind then check-calls 2000 on the flop 6♥ J♣ J♠ . On the turn 5♦ , Derecho check-raises 16,000, Francisco Osuna folds giving up his 6000 bet.

Wanhao Zhao opens 2000 and finds one customer in cutoff Sandeep Mirchandi who calls the 1500 c-bet on a flop 4♦ J♠ 7♦ . Both slow down and check the turn Q♦ and river T♥ . Zhao has A♣ 4♥ bottom pair, Mirchandi wins the pot with 7♥ 8♣ straight.

Small blind Lijun Zhang three-bets 3800 and gets called by utg Yiu Yeung Leung. Both players check the flop 9♠ 9♦ K♥ . Zhang resumes with a 2500 bet on the turn 3♥ that's called. Zhang fires another 3000 on the river K♠ and this time takes it without further challenge.

Three players head to a flop 7♦ 4♦ A♥ , initial raiser from cutoff c-bets 2500 and both callers stick around. Sandeep Mirchandi leads out 6000 on the turn 2♦ , cutoff folds, button Wanhao Zhao calls. Mirchandi puts pressure on the river with a 21,000 bet, still Zhao calls.

The turn 2♥ seals the win with Joo drawing dead.

Utg Steve Arnold opens 2000 then calls hijack Alvir Inocentes 5500 three-bet. Inocentes continues for 3000 on the flop 2♠ 2♦ 7♦ and wins it outright.

Graham Cowan starts the heavy action with 1200, William Ysmael three-bets 4800, small blind four-bets all in for less (6200) that's called by both . Check to the turn A♦ 9♣ J♣ 2♥ , Ysmale bets 2000 and Cowan calls. The river T♥ it's back to checking.

Darren Yu defends the small blind and heads to the flop Q♥ 7♦ J♥ . Yu shoves 10,100 and Georges Georgiou calls.

Four players in on a raised pot see a flop J♥ Q♥ 5♥ . Cutoff Georges Georgiou bets 3300, no callers.

Button Gaurav Law opens 1200 then calls Moses Saquing's 3500 re-raise for a flop K♣ 6♥ 3♦ . Saquing continues for 2000 that's called however on the turn T♠ , action switches with Law firing 7500 to claim the pot.

Kim ships it, Yu busts, and Salud wins a small side pot.

Marc Rivera gets in the action with a raise from the button and blinds defend. No bets on the flop and turn to complete the board 2♠ 7♠ T♥ Q♣ 8♣ . Small blind Kim Youngmin leads out 2800, no callers.

From cutoff Evgeny Strotenko calls Kunlong Yu's open then calls down bets of 1000, 2000, 5000 on each street of a board 4♥ 6♥ 9♦ 7♥ K♦ . Yu mucks on the river, Strotenko doesn't need to show.

George Salud opens 1200 and heads to the flop 4♥ 9♠ Q♠ with two callers. Salud c-bets 2600 and only big blind Evgeny Strotenko wants to go to the turn A♣ . Salud fires 6000 and this time takes the pot uncontested.

Seonghun Jeong opens 800 then calls Liao Po Hsun's 2500 re-raise. Liao continues for 2200 at the flop A♦ A♣ 9♥ then both check the turn J♣ . Jeong leads out the river 7♣ , Liao calls, Jeong shows the 6♠ 5♦ bluff that loses to Liao's T♣ 9♣ two pair.

Blinds call a raise by Sandeep Mirchandani who c-bets 1100 on the flop 5♦ T♠ 2♣ . Big blind Seonghun Park check-raises 4500, Mirchandani calls while small blind folds. The turn 6♣ is checked then Park bangs out 15,000 on the river 9♠ , Mirchandani calls and collects with 9♣ 9♦ set over 7♣ 7♠ .

Three players check the flop 8♦ 4♠ 2♠ , Feng Zhao leads out 2200 on the turn Q♥ with only Evegny Strotenko calling. Zhao fires again on the river J♥ , Strotenko calls the 9700 bet. Zhao has K♠ Q♣ top pair which is no good against Strotenko's Q♠ J♣ two pair.

Yiu Yeung Leung opens 600, Lijun Zhang three-bet 1800, button Alvir Inocentes and Leung call. All three check the flop 9♣ A♠ 7♠ . Leung and Zhang check the turn 2♥ then fold to Inocentes 2000 bet.

Kim Min Hwa three-bets 3400 and Kunlong Yu calls then folds to the 3000 bet on the flop 9♠ 8♠ A♥ .

Three players in on a raised pot see a flop 7♥ Q♦ T♦ . Aggressor Kunlong Yu continues for 1300 and only Feng Zhao calls. Both players check the turn K♠ and 7♦ river . Yu has A♥ 9♠ , Zhao flips the winner Q♥ 8♥ .

Alvir Inocentes opens 600, cutoff Seonghun Park three-bets 2000, button Zhang Lijun and Inocentes call. At the flop9c J♦ 5♥ , action is folded to Zhang who bets 6000 and wins it then and there.

Following a raise, Jeong Seonghun bets 1000 on a flop 6♣ A♠ jd and is check-raised to 3000 by Francisco Osuna while the rest fold. On the turn 8♥ , Osuna opts to lead out 8000, Jeong takes no interest.

Kunlong Yu opens and small blind Kim Min Hwa joins then calls Yu's 800 c-bet on the flop 8♠ J♠ Q♣ . No bets on the turn J♥ . Yu sends out 2100 on the river 6♦ then folds to Kim's 7000 raise.

Ker Beng Hong three-bets 1300 and initial raiser Alvir Inocentes calls. Ker c-bets 1800 on the flop 9♣ 4♥ 8♥ and gets called. Both check the turn 9♠ . Inocentes leads out 13,500 on the river 8♣ which is good enough to take it down.

Evegny Strotenko opens from utg and heads to the flop with three callers and all check the flop A♠ T♦ 8♣ . Graham Cowan bets 1,100 on the turn 7♣ and only Evegny Strotenko joins to the river J♠ . No bets land again. Cowan has A♣ Q♣ for the pot.

Three players in on a three-bet pot preflop, dealer felts 5♦ 6♣ 4♦ , Seonghun Park c-bets 2500 and only big blind Seonghun Jeong calls. The turn 7♦ is checked, then Jeong bets11,000 on the river 3♥ and wins it without further challenge.

Zhao Feng three-bets from the big blind and goes to the flop A♦ 2♠ 7♦ with Francisco Osuna. Feng c-bets 600 and wins it uncontested.

Graham Cowan raises opens then bets 600 on the flop A♠ 7♣ 2♦ . Lone caller Kunlong Yu check-calls. Both pass the turn 3♣ then Cowan bets 2200 on the river 3♠ for the pot.

Francisco Osuna three-bets from the big blind and button Kang Sungwong calls as both see the flop A♠ 4♣ A♥ . Osuna continues for 2000 and gets called. Both check the turn 8♦ and river 6♥ , Osuna takes this one down again with A♣ T♦ .

Park Seonghun opens 300 and goes to a flop 7♣ A♠ 5♣ with two customers. Jeong Seonghun bets 700 and only Park continues to the turn 4♦ . Jeong fires again with 1500 bet, Park check-raises 6000, Jeong folds.

Francisco Osuna three-bets from the small blind and button Sungwong Kang calls. Osuna continues on the flop and turn 6 c 7♥ 4♥ 6♥ for 1000 and 3000, Kang calls both and they head to the river 7♣ . Osuna checks this time, Kang bets 3000, Osuna makes the call. Osuna has the higher flush.

Cards are now flying for Day 1A of APPT Open! Registration is open until the end of Level 10 at approximately 7:10pm.

The first key event of APPT Manila kicks off today at Cove Manila in Okada starting at 12pm. The event features a PHP 20,000,000 (~USD 340,550) guarantee with three starting days scheduled.

For a buy in of PHP 60,000 (~USD 1,020), players receive a 30,000 stack equivalent to 300 times the opening blinds. Blinds increase every 40 minutes for Day 1A and Day 1B, and every 20 minutes for Day 1C Turbo. Players that advance to Day 2, will see a looser 60 minutes for the duration of the tournament. All Day 1 flights play a total of 15 levels. Re-entries are allowed and multiple stacks however only the largest stack advances while the extra will be removed from play and earns the minimum payout.
