APC Da Nang: Main Event Day 1B begins at 11am; Korea scores third win at Single Highroller event

 

Another day of great poker action ahead with Day 1B of the MAIN EVENT on deck starting at 11am. The festival headliner is highlighted by its ₫8 Billion (~$337K) guaranteed prize pool. Registration stays open for nine levels which means plenty of time for latecomers to make their way.

APC Da Nang at Dragon Poker Club

If you are just waking up to news of this event, it is the first Asia Poker Championship in Vietnam and fourth in history with the first three held in the Philippines. Each one was won by a Filipino. The latest edition takes place at popular beach destination Da Nang, inside the Dragon Poker Club. This is the newest poker room in town, owned and operated by premier poker organizer Korea Mind Game Members (KMGM). Main Event buy in is ₫22,000,000 (~$930) with unlimited re-entries. 

At yesterday’s opening heat, 56 entered with 7 reaching ITM. Korea’s An Un Song bagged the chip lead and will be the player to measure up to with 472,000 (39 BB). Will Korea finally bring home the APC title? We’ll find out in the days to come!
