2017 World Series of Poker Schedule Announced
The much awaited complete schedule of the World Series of Poker 2017 (WSOP) has finally been released. The biggest festival in the poker world will happen from May 30 to July 18, 2017 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and will have a total of 74 events across the series including8 new additions.
New events:
$333 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold’em: The WSOP will be again holding an event purely online. The event begins on June 3, has unlimited re-entries and will be played at WSOP.com
THE GIANT – $365 No-Limit Hold’em: The event starts on June 9 and has an unlimited re-entry format. There will be weekly Day 1 flights and payouts on every Flight. Day2 starts on July 8.
THE MARATHON – $2,620 No-Limit Hold’em: The event will have 100 minute levels and will run for 5 days. All players will start with 26,200 chips.
$1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Super Turbo BOUNTY: Each player will have a bounty of $300. The event will have 20 minute levels.
$2,500 Big Bet Mix: This tournament will include Big O, No-Limit Hold’em, No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw, Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo, 8 or Better, No-Limit 5 Card Draw, Pot-Limit Omaha, 2-7 Pot-Limit and Lowball Triple Draw in the mix.
$3,333 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold’em High Roller: Also played purely online at the WSOP.com website with unlimited re-entries but with a higher buy-in.
$1,500 No-Limit Hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed Mix: a NLH/ PLO Mix event with a buy-in of $1,500.
$10K Tag Team No-Limit Hold’em Championship: Two to four players are allowed on each team and all players of the team will have to register together.
Apart from these, the mainstay events like High Roller for One for One Drop, Monster Stack and others will be present during the festival as well as the most prestigious poker event in the world – the WSOP Main Event which will have a buy-in of US$10,000 and which will start on July 8.
