Highly acclaimed World Poker Tour is making another splash across the online scene with its official platform WPT Global’s approaching Spring Festival. The series, running from May 21st to June 4th, welcomes both seasoned professionals and emerging talents to vie for a total of $1,250,000 in prizes. The two-week schedule completes 84 tournaments including a collection of WPT World Championship Passports to be awarded.

When WPT Global launched, we knew it would become the best place for players to participate in WPT events online,” said CEO of WPT, Adam Pliska. “The WPT Global Spring Festival gives players around the world the opportunity to win a WPT500 and WPT Prime title without having to leave their home.”

The upcoming Spring Festival features a variety of events, including classics No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, with a mix of Short Deck events, all played through formats PKO’s, 6-max, and Turbos. Buy-ins for the games range from $1.10 to its most expensive $2,500 High Rollers, making it not only accessible to players of all bankroll levels but also equally exciting for those in tune for bigger action.

The main highlight of the series remains to be the $1,060 WPT Prime Main Event which kicks off on Sunday, May 28th and plays through to the culmination of the festival on June 4th. Being the first ever WPT Prime online champion, the winner of the Main Event will receive a seat to the 2023 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in addition to the lion’s share of the $200,000 prize pool. A total of ten starting flights will be available throughout the week giving players ample time to qualify for the Day 2 Final.

Prior to the WPT Prime Main Event, tournament runners can enjoy a $530 buy-in WPT500 slated to run from May 24-28. The preceding highlight features a $100,000 guarantee and nine starting flights, the last one being a turbo for players looking to snag a seat through Day 2 on the 28th.

A week after the festivities have concluded, winners and final table finishers from all Spring Festival events can claim an entry to the Champion of Champions freeroll happening on June 11th. The freeroll showcases a $2,500 WPT Prime Championship Passport up for grabs, as well as specially designed WPT awards locked in for the winners of all three noted highlights.
