The knockout trend across the tournament poker scene is far from over with numerous runners still finding themselves hooked to that added thrill offered by the popular variant. Freshest online platform WPT Global is joining the bounty frenzy once more with a ten day festival focusing entirely on knockout games. Starting February 23 through March 3, 2024, the WPT Global Knockout Series will see every tournament on the lineup taking shape in either a standard Knockout Bounty or a PKO – Progressive Knockout format, awarding over $2,000,000 in total prizes to its lucky winners.

Players will find the schedule showcasing a wide range of games with its lowest buy-in priced at a modest $5.50. The center of attention revolves around the $220 entry Main Event for a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000, accompanied by other highlights – $110 Crazy Sunday PKO and $22 Mini Main Event. Those with thicker bankrolls may appreciate a number of high-tiered buy-in tournaments on schedule including another six figure pot posted by the $2,100 High Roller.

Festival Highlights

  • $220 Main Event – $250,000 Guaranteed
  • $2,100 High Roller – $200,000 Guaranteed
  • $110 Crazy Sunday PKO – $100,000 Guaranteed
  • $22 Mini Main Event – $75,000 Guaranteed

Series Leaderboard

A midseason offering, the upcoming WPT Global KO Series will be armed with an official series leaderboard based not on one’s finishing position, but on the bounties racked up across the games. The top 200 players are set to be awarded with bonus prizes, highlighted by a $12,400 Spring Festival tournament ticket package for the ultimate winner. 2nd to 5th placers shouldn’t fret as they are also entitled to a $1,060 WPT Passport Package Satellite Ticket, and a $300 Grand Slam seat plus a $110 Sunday Slam Ticket for the 6th to 10th ranks. The rest guaranteed a prize will see their accounts followingly stacked with a share of Sunday Slam and Global Spin tickets for their efforts.

With all festivals on the platform accounted for under the room’s inaugural $250,000 WPT Global Player of the Year race, leaderboard runners hunting down the top prize have multiple chances of piling in as many points as they can one series after the other. Points accumulated throughout the WPT Global KO Series will be counted in along with all four Major Festivals – Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, four mid-season festivals, and every one of the Sunday Slam Tournaments (Sunday Slam, Grand Slam, Mini Slam) throughout the year.

The top 100 players on the final leaderboard by November 24th are set to cut a share of the prizes not limited to WPT Global tournament dollars, but also WPT passports and entries for the 2024 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. All eyes however, are on the grand prize where four $12,400 WPT Passports to different WPT live events of the winner’s choosing, plus $25,000 in tournament dollars for WPT Global online tournaments and $25,400 cash, will be given away.
