The World Poker Tour used to host only a single event per year in Mainland China but for 2017 ,the organization has unveiled a growing ambition in China. The Season XVI kicked off in Beijing with a victory by Pete Chen and the Chengdu event has been a surprise announcement that would be followed by the traditional Sanya stop.

It’s a significant progress for the Word Poker Tour who has been used to host only one event per year in Mainland China.
