Season XXI of the World Poker Tour is off to a smashing start with back to back Prime festivals setting new records. Opening in Paris, France in January, the Main Event drew 1,071 entries to surpass the 1,050 turnout set in Cambodia last year.

Proceeding to Gold Coast, Australia, it continued the trend with 1,224 Main Event entries for a prize pool of AU$ 2,203,200 (~US$1,483,200). This is now the largest and richest WPT Prime Main Event (non-Championship event).

If you missed the past Prime festivals, the next one is just one day away. Starting March 9 and running through March 21 is WPT Prime Cambodia at NagaWorld Integrated Resorts. This is the brand’s third Prime series of the season.
