Just before entering heads up, Zheng and Nguyen Trung Ha were running near even while Jun Zhao needed two double ups just to catch up. That moment did not arrive, instead Zheng cleaned him out in 3rd place with Q♦J♣ finding the river 6♦10♦9♠6♥J♦ to bust Zhao’s A♣4♦.

Heads up against Nguyen opened with both very deep that it took almost one hour to wrap up. Zheng chipped away at Nguyen’s stack to build a 4:1 advantage. Nguyen found a little hope on a double up with J♠J♦ over Q♣10♣ but it was short-lived. The final hand was dealt.
Zheng limped with T♠8♥, Nguyen checked holding J♥7♦. The flop came 6♦J♣9♦, Nguyen check-raised and got called. Both players checked the turn 5♦. Then on the river Q♣, Nguyen bet, Zheng pushed, Nguyen called for his tournament life and fell to the straight.
