The Asia Poker League kicks off season finale in Da Nang

The Asia Poker League is set to conclude its year in Vietnam. The prestigious final instalment will run from December 12th to 21st at the Risemount Premier Resort in the picturesque coastal city of Da Nang.

The APL finale is organised in partnership with the Vietnamese Series of Poker (VSOP) and promises a satisfying closer event, featuring 16 events among which is the Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of VND 8,000,000,000 (~USD 346,674).

Poker King Club hosted their own signature event just a few days earlier in the same city and so it looks like Da Nang is starting to grow in popularity as a destination for poker in Vietnam. More events have already been scheduled for 2020.

88 entries in the first starting day of the Kick Off

Yesterday’s Event #1 was the VND 10,000,000 (~USD 433) Kick-off Day 1A, this will be followed by a Day 1B today and the final day tomorrow.

The Main Event will take off tomorrow and it is promising to be a large field. After yesterday’s satellite, there will be three more chances to qualify for one of the four starting days of the VND 8 Billion (~USD 346,534) GTD tournament: today, Saturday and Sunday at 7pm.

Saturday will see Day 1A, Sunday Day 1B and Monday will have two starting Days in one at 12.30pm and 5.30pm.

Every player will start with 30,000 chips. Day 1 will be played with 40 minute blinds (the Turbo Day 1D with 20 minutes) and Day 2, 3 and final table will play with 60 minutes.
