Nearly two weeks after the festival kicked off, the much awaited Main Event 5M guaranteed finally hit the tables. The excitement drew a storm of 1,297 entries across five starting heats, and with buy in at NT$ 8,000 (~US$ 288) each, the guarantee was obliterated in exchange for a sweeter NT$ 8,819,600 (~US$ 317,820) prize pool. After seven days of play, the title came down between Chung Hsien Lee and Yu Xuan Deng, both players seeking their first major win.

One of the most incredible performances at the series was by Hong Kong player Chan Lok Ming with a stunning six victories across the board. At the low buy in tournaments, Chan won two Nightly Events and one Daily Deepstack, then during the last four days of the festival, he shipped three major events – TMT High Roller 4, Megastack, and the NT$ 86K buy in Super High Roller, the most expensive tournament offered.
