The social poker application PPPoker has gained tremendous popularity in recent years. Initially launched in Asia, PPPoker is now widely used across the World.
While the application is better known by players as a platform on which to organise games between friends, its Global Tournaments series also allows players to compete for prizes. On top of that, PPPoker has recently entered the live poker scene too.
Having grown stronger from these successes the company is preparing itself for a bigger challenge – the PPPoker World Championship (PPWC).
PPWC is a professional global poker tournament series created by PPPoker with a massive guaranteed prize pool of 30,000,000 PHP (Approx. USD$574,665). PPWC will be held between February 15th and 21st 2019, at Resorts World Manila.
PPWC Main Event
The 7-day festival features a PHP 20,000,000 (Approx. USD$383,110) guaranteed Main Event tournament, alongside 15 various other events. The buy in is set at PHP 55,000 (Approx. USD $1,000).

PPWC TEAMS Event
Additionally, in what promises be one of the highlights of the series, players representing dozens of different countries will compete in the Teams Event for the honour of crowning their nation the PPPoker World Champion. Teams from all around the world are expected to attend this event. The buy in for a team of nine into the event is set at PHP550,000 (approx. USD $10,000)
