Tung Wing Wong, originally from Hong Kong, is quickly making his way up the Hong Kong All-Time Money List, with total live cash earnings of USD 346,711. His most notable success was at the 2023 Asian Poker Taipei Main Event, where he placed third and bagged NTD 4,503,000 (USD 146,338).
Another prominent run of Wong’s occurred at the World Poker Tour Prime Taiwan, during which he placed fifth but bagged a sizable prize pot of NTD 1,760,000 (USD 55,127).
Wong eventually nabbed the top spot in the HKPPA Premier League Last Kwun Tong Cup Turbo Event, bagging NTD 95,900 (USD 2,971) and the High Roller Single Day Shotclock 8-Max, taking home NTD 478,300 (USD 14,816).
Wong made his second-largest win at the most recent APT Taipei tournament, placing second in the Single Day High Roller Event for a hefty NTD 1,430,000 (USD 45,326) win.
Outside of Taiwan, Wong has also competed in Vietnam, Macau, South Korea, and the Philippines.
