While relatively new to the poker scene, Taiwan-bred player Shi Tang Chen is quickly raking up live cashes and making a name for himself on Taiwanese felt. In his most impressive stint yet, Chen won a cash prize of NTD 124,000 (USD 3,926) in the APT National Cup Event #4 at APT Taipei, for which he placed 19th. Chen bagged 980,000 chips—the second-most of the day.

Chen’s second-largest win occurred at the 15th Taiwan Millions Tournament, during which he won NTD 87,700 (USD 2,795) for placing 7th in the Mystery Bounty Event #6.

So far, Chen has one first-place win in his career for the Daily Deepstack event at the 2023 CTP SanChong Weekly Tournament.
