Chaar-Lee discovered poker over 20 years ago, starting with fixed-limit games before embracing the rise of No-Limit Hold’em across cash games, STTs, and MTTs. In the early days, he and his circle sometimes played more than 40 different formats in a single night. He organized the first poker camp in his region and has contributed poker technology to several televised shows. Today, he supports the SOMUCHPOKER team from the tech side, blending two decades of poker passion with technical expertise.

While primarily known for his successful ventures as a businessman, entrepreneur, lifestyle connoisseur, avid collector, and philanthropist, Chase Cokaliong also thrives in the competitive world of poker. In mid-2023, Cokaliong made his debut at the highly competitive APPT Manila, where he placed an impressive 119th out of 1,354 players, earning PHP 139,000 (~USD 2,509).

After a near-yearlong break from the poker field, Cokaliong made a more-than-impressive comeback at the Metro Summer Event 2-24, where he ultimately placed 10th out of the 912 entry field, turning his PHP 11,000 (~USD 195) buy in into PHP 80,000 (~USD 1,400).

When he is not dominating at a table, Cokaliong patronizes significant poker-based events. Perhaps the most groundbreaking milestone of his poker career is the upcoming Chase Cup, an event at Poker8 Cebu with a guaranteed prize pool of PHP 5,000,000 which also awards an iconic Rolex Submariner timepiece to the grand champion.
