Biography & Poker Background
Rich is a multi-disciplined creative — working as a jeweller and artist — who has managed to pursue a parallel career in professional poker across two continents. She lived and competed in Australia for a period, registering under the Australian flag and building her first significant live results there, before moving back to her home city of Seattle.
Her first major live victory came at the 2015 Aussie Millions, and in the same year she won the MSPT Main Event at the Venetian in Las Vegas — becoming the first woman in the tour’s history to win a main event title, a landmark achievement in a field predominantly contested by men.
In 2022, competing under Australia, she finished strongly enough in the second half of the year — accumulating over USD $130,000 in online earnings in just two months, a final table appearance in the MSPT Main Event at the Venetian, and a WSOP event cash — to be awarded the 2022 GPI Australian Player of the Year title for the female category. The award was presented alongside Yita Choong’s male title.
She has continued to compete actively with her most recent Hendon Mob cash in January 2026, adding further results across US and international events to her 92-cash career total. Her combination of creative professional identity and competitive poker career makes her one of the more distinctive figures to compete under the Australian flag.
