Mark Rubbathan claims over $600K after winning Triton package
Americas Cardroom Stormer Mark Rubbathan had a life-changing start to 2023 after his appearance in the latest Triton series in Vietnam awarded him a total of $686,300 in cashes in addition to claiming Triton gold. Rubbathan’s journey to glory began in February when he won one of four High Stakes Adventure packages valued at over $100,000 on the Winning Poker Network. The package included $100,000 in tournament buy-ins alone in addition to 12 nights of accommodation at the KHOS Hoiana luxury hotel, round-trip business class airfare ticket, and VIP airport transfers.
In the series, Rubbathan tested the waters across three events and cashed in two: $20,000 Mystery Bounty, 1st – $396,000 + $240,000 (Bounty), and $15,000 No Limit Hold’em, 10th – $50,300. His performance at the Mystery Bounty event bested some of the toughest contenders in the field including Wiktor “Limitless” Malinowski and battled alongside a number of the fiercest pros out there.
