WPTDeepstacks Hanoi: Nguyễn Quang Huy and Nguyễn Chiến Hữu win events; Main Event starts today
Last night, two players joined the winners club, Nguyễn Quang Huy for his victory at the All Bankrolls and Nguyễn Chiến Hữu who bulldozed through the competition at the Bounty Event. Taking a look at the Player of the Series race, Warm Up Event champion Phạm Ngọc Quốc Bảo maintained the top spot. With five days of games now in the books, the inaugural WPTDeepstacks Hanoi opens Day 6 at host venue Crown Poker Club with the Main Event featuring a VNđ 4 billion (~US$ 173,500) guarantee. We’ve provided all the information and latest results down below.

Event 7: MAIN EVENT – VNđ 4 billion guaranteed
The festival headliner hits the felt today April 21 and will run until April 25. Four starting days are scheduled. For a buy in of VNđ 22,000,000 (~US$ 954), players start with a 30,000 stack, which is 300 times the starting blinds of 100 – 100 ante 100. Needless to say, it pays to get an early start. Day 1A, Day 1B, and Day 1C will see the blinds increase every 40 minutes while Day 1D runs a faster 25 minutes. Registration closes at the start of Level 10, bagging time at the end of Level 15. For players that bust early, there are plenty of chances to advance with two re-entries allowed per starting day.

At Day 2 and Final Table, players will see the blinds increase every 60 minutes however at Heads Up, the blinds will drop to 30 minute intervals. For players hoping to get in at a cheaper cost, Main Event satellites are offered. Only four remain with buy in at VNđ 3,500,000 (~US$ 152). For even less, try your luck at the feeders to the satellites at a very cheap VNđ 550,000 (~US$ 24).
Other events joining on the floor today are the Super High Roller [ 2 Day Event ] with buy in at the festival’s highest of VNđ 55,000,000 (~US$ 2,385) and the Short Deck with buy in at VNđ 5,000,000 (~US$ 217).

Event 5: All Bankrolls – NGUYỄN QUANG HUY – VNđ 87,740,000 (~US$ 3,805)
After a booming weekend, the All Bankrolls event held on Monday, April 19 had a lighter turnout, drawing 24 entries to Flight 1 at VNđ 8,800,000 buy in and 10 entries to Flight 3 at VNđ 4,400,000 buy in. Due to a late start, Flight 2 wasn’t able to run. The winner was decided on the next day with Nguyễn Quang Huy claiming it for a VNđ 87,740,000 (~US$ 3,805) payday. This was Nguyễn’s second cash with his first at the Warm Up Event where he finished 14th for VNđ 32,900,000.

Nguyễn Chiến Hữu came out swinging at the Bounty Event resulting in a well deserved victory and an incredible 21 heads chopped. The event drew 87 entries (67 uniques, 20 re-entries) for a total prize pool of VNđ 455,710,000. For his win, Nguyễn shipped the VNđ 90,760,000 first prize and an additional VNđ 42,000,000 in bounty rewards for a combined VNđ 132,760,000 (~US$ 5,758) payout. This was another strong performance by the champion who reached the final table of the Warm Up Event, finishing 7th for VNđ 72,200,000.
