Day 4 at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Taiwan was roaring with six events lighting up host venue Asia Poker ArenainTaipei City. At the close, three events bagged up and three players captured their career first WPT win. We’ve got all those results down below.

Event 1: Man Event Warm Up – Day 2 results
Day 2 of the Main Event Warm Up saw 81 players return to action and after ten hours of play, the final 9 players emerged led by Yun Yang Hsiao (pictured above seated in white). Yun is on course for his first live title but he will have to overcome stiff competition with Jing Jie Chen and multi-decorated Alan Pham hot on his heels. Also in the lineup were Chia Yun Wu who recently championed the record breaking Taiwan Millions Tournament 14 Main Event and Kuang Hung Lee who entered Day 2 ranked fourth.
Main Event Warm Up Day 2 – Chip Counts
The Main Event Warm Up drew an impressive field of 635 entries for a prize pool of TWD 5,389,600 ~(USD 169,400). The money flowed on Day 2 with the largest cuts yet to be claimed. The final 9 players are guaranteed TWD 97,000 (~USD 3,050) while the champion is slated to earn a substantial TWD 984,600 (~USD 30,950).

Event 8: Mystery Bounty – Day 1A results
Day 1A of the Mystery Bounty 5M guaranteed was the hottest item on the menu with 195 runners signing up. The heat played down to ITM of 25 players. Notable players Yu Chung Chang, JIa Chi Lee, Kyle Bao Diep, Kar Wee Chee bagged up hefty stacks, and sitting high up top was Ker Paw Lin who dwarfed the competition with a massive 1,245,000.
The survivors have a day break while they await the results of Day 1B and Day 1C, both heats taking place on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:30am and 4pm.

The 2 Day High Roller Warm up saw a field of 30 entries for a prize pool of TWD 1,34,100 (~USD 41,620). The event wrapped up at ITM of five players. Impressively, Yu Chung Chang was among the survivors, he was also seen bagging up at Day 1A of the Mystery Bounty. USA’s Eli Chang topped the counts and was the only player to cross a million in chips. Action resumes at 1pm on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Up for grabs is the TWD 497,000 (~USD 15,575) top prize.
