WPT Cambodia: Yinfei Xiao dominates the NagaWorld Cup and Mohamad Abbouchi prevails at the Deep Stack Turbo
WPT Cambodia concluded its fourth day with another two players walking away as first time champions. In the late evening, two events wrapped up Day 1 and will resume at 12:45pm tomorrow. We have all the results and finalist chip counts below.
NagaWorld Cup: YINFEI XIAO – US$ 35,619
The US$ 300 buy-in NagaWorld Cup was a three-day affair attracting a combined 136 entries over the two offered flights. 18 players got back on the horse today, all of them guaranteed a piece of the US$ 35,619 pot. Leading the race was China’s Yinfei Xiao who continued to build on his stack to amass half the chips in play at three-handed.
From there, it was not much of a contest. Xiao proceeded to eliminate Sweden’s Alexander Hoglind in 3rd place with over on a dry board. Now heads up with a 2.5:1 advantage against Tan Kok Fye Darian, it only took four hands to seal the win. Darian three-bet all in on a board , Xiao snapped it off. Darian ahead with two pair, Xiao with to pair. When the river spiked , it was over. Xiao overtook with a higher two pair to claim his first-ever live tournament victory.

The evening US$ 250 buy-in Deep Stack Turbo ran just past the midnight hour with the 97 entry field crunched down to the winner Mohamad Abbouchi from Lebanon. Like Yinfei Xiao above, Abbouchi is a first-time live tournament champion. He overcame a tough final table littered with pros that included WSOP 2019 winner Abhinav Iyer.

Third day of festivities at WPT Cambodia saw players file in the room with two events to choose from. At 1pm was the US$ 550 buy-in Megastack Freezeout tournament. 149 players got busy hoping to stay alive until the money of 19 places. USA’s Ping Liu delivered the bubble defeating a player’s with two pair on a running board .
The remaining players were now guaranteed a piece of the US$ 72,265 pot. The event bagged up when the final 9 was reached. They return on Wednesday, November 20 at 1245pm to race for the top prize worth US$ 19,952. Below are their chip counts:

Short Deck
The second event was the evening US$ 300 buy-in Short Deck with 94 pulling up seats for a prize pool worth US$ 25,142. The game stopped when the bubble burst. Big stacked Tran Duc eliminated a short stack with straight flush on a board to oust A-Q.
The final battle for the title and the US$ 7,975 first prize takes place on Wednesday, November 20 at 1245pm. 14 players left.
Top three are: Tran Duc 300,000, Beh Kok Wong 289,500, and Chow Hing Yaong 278k.

While the two events above resume on Wednesday, November 20, idle players have games to enjoy. At 1pm is the US$ 300 Bounty with US$ 100 reward for every knockout. At 2pm is the two-day Super High Rollers with buy-in at US$ 5,300.
