WPT Announces the acquisition of Deepstack Poker Tour
Deepstacks Poker Tour which started organizing live tournaments in the US in 2012 is now 100% owned by the World Poker Tour (WPT). As such the WPT® will be in full control of WPTDeepStacks operations.
WPTDeepStacks which initially partnered with the WPT® in 2014, was created to replace the WPT Regional and DeepStacks Poker Tour brands in Europe and in the US. The partnership led to growth of the WPTDeepStacks tour, generating more than $10 million in total prize pools.

Season 4 of WPT Deepstacks will start on January 19, 2017. 18 stops are scheduled mostly in North America with a last stop taking place in Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California featuring a $2,500 Main Event that will Gtds a $1M prizepool.
