PokerStars USA hosts COOP series
With the highly exciting $100 million guaranteed World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) running across PokerStars’ global market, the online poker giant has lined up a premier series solely dedicated to its US counterpart. Beginning September 10, 2021 through the 27th, the Championship of Online Poker (COOP) features a total of 190 events (60 for New Jersey, and 65 each for both Michigan and Pennsylvania), boasting a prize guarantee of $4.5 million altogether.
Each series is set to host a $300 Main Event with its guarantee based on the specific market volume. As the biggest market in PokerStars USA’s stable, the PA site offers the largest combined tournament guarantee and a Main Event with at least a $200,000 prize pool.
COOP Guarantees
PokerStars PA – $2,000,000 across 65 events, Main Event ($200,000)
PokerStars MI – $1,500,000 across 65 events, Main Event ($150,000)
PokerStars NJ – $1,000,000 across 60 events, Main Event ($100,000)
Last May’s SCOOP festival in the three regulated markets recorded huge successes as it smashed its guarantees and awarded a total of $6.35 million in prize money. While the COOP series appears to be a tad less eventful, players can expect a similar level of thrill and action as the leading brand continues to increase its dominance across the states. The full schedule for COOP is now up on the site’s respective lobbies for those looking to join the games.
Chico Poker Network’s $2.5M GTD Championship Online Poker Series
