Before the money started flowing, Voulle doubled up during the bubble round with AsQd winning the flip against Josh Chargualaf’s pocket Sixes, and AdAs dominating Christopher Mateo’s Ace-Eight offsuit. The bubble came down on David Chargualaf whose Ac10s top two pair was outdrawn by Robert Kuang‘s Js5h straight on a board 8c9hAh10h7c.

Leading up to heads up, Gabitan delivered a double knockout – Kuang (9th) and James Moriles (8th) – with AdKh dominating KsQs and AsJc. As more players dropped out, Voulle eliminated Chargualaf in 3rd place with Ac8s running into QcQd. This gave Voulle a 2:1 chip advantage against Gabitan entering heads up.
