Macau Billionaire Poker (MBP) confirms Tom Dwan’s participation to the Spring Challenge
March 17th– 20thwill see the MBP Spring Challenge kick-off. The festival will feature an event named “China vs World”.This challengewill pit five of the best players in China against five of the best players from the rest of the world. The event is by invitation only, and Tom Dwan has now been announced as one of the competitors, as has Johnny Chan.
Having missed the Triton Super High Roller last month, the presence of Dwan at this event will draw extra publicity for MBP. These days, it seems that Super High Roller events in Asia are the only place that fans of live poker may be able to catch sight of Dwan, as much of his cash game action is conducted out of sight. Despite being out of the spotlight in terms of poker playing, Dwan has been in the spotlight in other ways this week, as Doug Polk has released a video exploring the possibility that Dwan could be involved in a seven-figure scam.
