For those unfamiliar with Poker Dream, it was created by esteemed poker player and businessman Winfred Yu. The brand launched in 2022 at Genting Highlands, Malaysia. The inaugural event united players of various levels, from budget-conscious recreational players to renowned Super High Rollers commonly seen at Triton events. The word quickly spread and by the end of the first year, the brand’s Hoi An, Vietnam festival paid out over USD 3.8 Million, the richest of all the brands touring the Asian circuit.

Following a hot first season, Poker Dream returned in 2023 with more innovative ways to make the game even more accessible to all types of players and wallets. Setting the brand apart was its inclusive approach to buy-ins. While most brands offer a range of buy-ins, Poker Dream took it a step further by implementing diverse prices and formats across numerous phased tournaments. This innovative concept has now become a defining feature of the brand, offering players a plethora of options to qualify for the next round.

In addition, the brand came out with the coolest merchandise: caps, jackets, hoodies, t-shirts joggers, shot clocks, card protectors that sold out at every series.

2023 wrapped up as Poker Dream’s biggest year, expanding from two festivals in 2022 to five festivals, with Manila and Taiwan added to the roster. In total, the brand paid out over USD 13.8 Million.
