Welcome to Day 2 of the inaugural U Series of Poker: Poker2U Taiwan Series taking place atthe Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association (CTP Club) in Taipei City. Games got rolling on February 10 and will run through February 19. Players can expect another thrilling day at the felt with the Kick Off event certain to crown its champion and the Mystery Bounty TWD 3M guaranteed joining the tournament floor.
Kick Off Event
The Kick Off event will see 48 players out of the 375 total entries return looking for glory and the TWD 547,000 (~$18,130) top prize. Mystery Bounty TWD 3M guaranteed starts today!
Running side by side is the Mystery Bounty featuring at TWD 3,000,000 (~$99,400) guarantee. This is by far the trendiest head hunter event worldwide. For those new to the format, only players that reach the money round have a chance at bounty rewards. The bounty reward remains a secret until it is drawn. Buy in is TWD 10,000 (~$330). Players have four starting days to try to qualify for Day 2. The first two flights run today, Flight A at 1pm and Flight B at 5pm.
For those that sign up to Flight A, blinds increase every 25 minutes, registration closes at 4:40pm. For Flight B, blinds are slightly faster, increasing every 20 minutes with registration closing at 8pm.
